“Gorgeous property in Sousse old town”

Lovely oasis in old town of Sousse. Helpful English speaking host who went out of his way to help with anything we needed. Large spacious ornately decorated rooms. Lovely outdoor seating areas great rooftop views.

“Authentic stay”

The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially Amine, we are really thankful for his assistance! The room is exactly as it is in the picture, the bed is very big and comfortable, and so are the pillows (which does not happen much). Breakfast was absolutely delicious!

Very nice traditionally decorated house with a panoramic terrace. Nice, communicative and helpful host. The first evening we were invited to their (also very beautiful) restaurant for a cup of tea - really nice and warm experience.

“Stunning”

Beautiful building. Our room was stunning & the common areas were wonderful. The courtyard was wonderful and calm to read a book and have breakfast. The rooftop gave a great view of Sousse - though quickly got very hot in the sun. The staff were very polite and helpful. Tiles, bougainvillea, arches, crenellations. The perfect kind of place to match imagery of North Africa.

The property is in the heart of Sousse Medina and everything was walkable distance. The room was clean and as described in the picture. Breakfast is also included, and the stuff is super nice and friendly!

Authentic, friendly hosts. The interior was traditional, without modern comforts. Breakfast. Use of kitchen.

Beautiful building. You get the feeling that this was someone’s much loved home. We met Badiaa - she is the owner’s super friendly mother, and she makes breakfast (she gave us a hug and kisses when we left). She has also now opened an excellent restaurant in another special building around the corner - apparently she was always cooking for lots of people for iftar so decided to keep going!

Dark Badiaa is beautifully decorated and has a great rooftop to watch relax on and watch the sunset. Breakfast was great, location in the heart of the Medina is a good place to be.

“A comfortable and authentic Tunisian stay”

This was a beautiful guesthouse, the rooms and inner courtyard were decorated exquisitely and breakfast was a generous assortment of sweet and savoury dishes. We found the room very comfortable and the rooftop terrace was an absolute highlight. This property is located in the heart of the Medina, only a short walk to the Ribat and traditional Tunisian restaurants, and we would highly recommend if you’re looking for an authentic Sousse experience. Amine and other staff were very kind and helpful throughout our entire stay.

Located in the medina, this traditional accommodation offers a lovely terrace, pretty bedrooms and access to the main attractions in Sousse.

“Perfect location, great staff and delicious breakfast.”

Perfect location, very welcoming staff and delicious breakfast! Nothing was too much trouble for Amine, who helped us during our stay and made sure everything was perfect. They even arranged balloons for my birthday as a surprise!

The guesthouse is conveniently located, just a few minutes’ walk from the Great Mosque, making it easy to explore the Medina and even walk to the beach area. The room is decorated in traditional Tunisian style, which made us feel as if we had traveled back in time—especially after visiting several Dar museums. We arrived late after 7:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve due to traffic congestion and road closures. We parked at a lot suggested by the guesthouse manager earlier on the opposite side of the Medina and tried calling and messaging the guesthouse manager via WhatsApp from around 6:00 p.m., but received no response. Fortunately, we met several local residents living in the Medina who kindly guided us to the guesthouse and even used their motor tricycle to help carry our luggage. This was the most heart-warming moment of our stay in Sousse, and we are deeply grateful for their kindness.

Great location in the Medina and easy to find. Beautiful roof terrace with views over medina. Rooms very individual and give some idea of a traditional house. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. This is interesting accommodation for a night or maybe 2. Our 4 nights just gave time for the niggles to mount up and annoy me.

Fabulous property. Truly amazing. Huge room that’s decorated in the traditional style. Large bed and good air con when it’s hot. Spectacular rooftop. And the best breakfast I had my entire trip in Tunisia. Family owned and operated. If you’re lucky enough you’ll get to meet the owners’ mother who gave me the biggest hug and kiss when I left

Traditional Tunisian style building featured in the national newspaper. Staff lady was very attentive to our needs and the boss Umar was very generous with a token gateau cake welcome and allowed us to leave the bags for half a day after checkout as we managed to get in a very very short trip to Kaouirain. 5 min walk to the biggest and oldest mosque in town , the biggest showcase around and a further 5-10 min walk to the cornich. And Ofcourse the old souq which is adjacent to the mosque.
