Mr Abdessamia, the host, was so kind and thoughtful. The location is phenomenal .. inside the medina walls! The museum is a few minutes away, the medina shopping a couple of minutes down narrow alleys. The area around Dar Baaziz is residential so its lovely to see kids going to school. The local women were so helpful whenever I lost my way (often!).The rooms are simply gorgeous. Traditional style just like in the photos. The courtyard as well as being where breakfast is served is a cool retreat to relax in.

Exxellent location in a quiet corner of the Medina *which was well lit at night - felt we were in the true heart of Sousse. Short walk to a variety of restaurants as well as to the Museum and the Souks. We were warmly hosted by Mr Abdessmie and his wife. Great breakfast included. Loved the traditional decor and obvious history of the house. Grateful for the map sent via WhatsApp for locating the property.

An incredible place with its own unique aura that allows you to feel the history and culture of this city. Although the owner did not speak English, it did not bother him in any way. The building itself is definitely worth a tour, but the roof terrace gives you the opportunity to enjoy the Tunis nights in the evening. It should also be noted that this place was possible to find with Google Maps.

Very friendly and helpful manager, great location in the middle of the Medina. Classy old building and a spacey suite for the family; traditional, tasty Tunisian breakfast in the morning... WE enjoyed it very much.

A great location in the Casbah but in a quiet area away from day-trippers from the resorts. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a variety of each day.
