Beautiful, historic home with a lovely host.

Allison was very kind, helpful and welcoming. The room and house was beautiful and within 15-30 minutes drive was several hiking routes, beautiful beaches and places to visit.

Everything! This is the first time I literally can't come up with any negatives. We have travelled a lot in the last 10 years...a variety of accommodations ...and the Library Inn was outstanding. Allison has created that fine balance of comfort without feeling uncomfortable!! Little touches like using local soap, local jams, help yourself to tea and cookies, the piles of books around to read, the spaces in which to sit and relax.....all these little extra touches have created such a sense of 'home' and 'acceptance' in this Inn. She is a brilliant host.....we had some great discussions about books...and life in general. We were sad to leave after our 3 days.

Allison's care to detail and desire to please her guest goes above and beyond what is the norm these days. Her breakfasts were outstanding. She even made a special trip to Charlottetown to get us more of the most delicious jams on day two of our stay, after we had commented on how delicious they were. The room we stayed in was beautifully appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. This was not the only lovely spot in the B & B, the whole home is beautifully decorated.

The location was beautiful and peaceful, with views over the water and mature trees and hydrangeas surrounding the inn. The inn is gorgeous — a cozy and charming heritage building with high ceilings and original architectural features, and beautiful decor. Allison is a truly wonderful hostess, so engaging and knowledgeable, a fabulous cook (breakfasts were outstanding!), and she had great recommendations for local sites, restaurants, and shopping.

Beautiful place right across from the water. Breakfast was great and the host Allison gave us many great suggestions of things to do and see in the area.

Alison was a lovely host! The home and our room were both beautiful and very comfortable. We also really enjoyed our breakfast in the mornings.

The perfect place to stay on PEI. Allison is an exceptionally attentive and kind host, who gave good recommendations for things to do locally, and looked after us fantastically with freshly cooked breakfasts each morning. We loved the room with a sea view and slept beautifully in the enormous bed. The living room with an open fire was a lovely touch, and one our best evenings was spent reading by the fire and drinking whiskey. Thanks so much Allison, we'll be recommending your place to all our friends!

Great breakfast and wonderful host. I should have done more research because I thought it was on the beach, but it was at the harbour. Very nice place though and clean rooms, nice common areas too.

Custom breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and fresh coffee every morning. The room and the bed were comfy. Very friendly and accommodating owner with lots of books of various genres.
