“Peaceful, charming - a must visit for those who want to get away from it all”
Loved our stay. It was so peaceful and relaxing and a beautiful place, miles away from noise and hassle. Lovely walks and cycle route right on the doorstep. The farmhouse has been beautifully renovated and the room we stayed in was full of character. Shaun and Elaine are lovely hosts, made us feel very welcome and we felt we were in the company of friends rather than hosts. They provided a great breakfast and we wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend Maison du Murphy and hope to return again soon.

“Fabulous hosts, wonderful setting and comfortable stay - perfect!”
Elaine and Shaun were the best Hosts we've ever stayed with - we had a long journey to get there and they offered us Tea and other refreshments on arrival - just super people and very welcoming to their beautiful home. The location is peaceful and rural in close proximity to Sourdeval and Veir with all the shopping and resturants.

“Perfect for our needs.”
If you are looking for the heart and variety of the Normandy countryside, you couldn't do better. At the juncture of three counties - La Manche, Calvados, and l'Orne -, Maison du Murphy is on the edge of the best horse country in France; is minutes from Vire with its medieval castle and fascinating renovated museum, an hour from Granville, the French corsaire city par excellence; an hour from Caen; and an hour from Mont Saint Michel. Elaine and Shaun are excellent hosts and very flexible.

A host made us an excelent breakfast full of everithing. We liked the very old house and ambiente of the room. The host was very, very nice.
