“Lovely hosts, peaceful stay”

Jo and Brian were so friendly and welcoming, full of local tips on things to see and do. Great with our kids (5 and 8), who especially loved the ride on the lawn mower! The accommodation was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Peaceful setting with lovely countryside views — WiFi was handy for the kids but we didn’t even miss having a TV. A really lovely family stay.

Jo, the host, was absolutely lovely & so helpful. We were travelling with our dog & she even helped us to make an appointment at the local vet for his worming treatment. The cottage was well equipped & comfortable, with a fenced off garden area. It was so lovely & quiet, making it really easy to relax.

Such a peaceful location, with gorgeous views. We had some cold weather whilst there but the log burner made the little cottage really cosy. We felt thoroughly relaxed after our stay, which was very much needed. Hosts Brian & Jo were fantastic, friendly and helpful and we will be staying again! Thanks

Everything was perfect. Our hosts, Brian and Jo, were extremely friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will certainly stay there again if needing accommodation in the area. The gite is very well equipped and if we needed anything, our hosts were more than happy to help. Such a peaceful and relaxing place. We had a problem with our car and Jo and Brian offered so much assistance, well beyond what we could have expected.

“If you are looking for a nice quiet place in the country then this would be the place.”

This is a newly renovated property and we think that Brian & Joanne have done a great job of taking this historic building and making it into the place we stayed (modern features along with WiFi). Joanne checked in on us and provided directions and suggestions. They provided some nice items in the place for our arrival - do not want to share too much and give away the surprise - but very kind and totally unexpected. Close parking for our car and very pet friendly (we brought our dog). The kitchen was fully functional and we were able to prepare our meals. They provided board games (which we used) and even pooh bags for our dog. We really did enjoy our stay.
