The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We were there for a wedding in a nearby Chateau, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we got there.

“Disappointing, would not go back”
This seems to be a hotel focussed on hosting large coach parties, who were well catered for with both dinner and breakfast during our stay. However, as we were not in a coach party we were not offered dinner and only scant morsels remained for breakfast, which were not replenished. In addition the coach parties rowdy march to thier rooms spoilt an otherwise peaceful sleep

Very friendly staff, made us feel very welcome. As we arrived late, they called to a restaurant nearby to inform them we were coming so they wouldn’t close. Hotel is a bit old but in this case with its clean room and comfy bed it’s quite charming. Very close to the A20 as well. Ideal for a midnight stop

Very friendly and professional welcome at reception. The room was big as well as the bathroom, very clean and the room was quiet.

“Okay facilities, unfriendly service”
The receptionist was really unfriendly. We had issues with our booking since he said that the hotel was full and that it was our job to figure out what went wrong. Only after some discussion would he assist us. In the morning we asked for the breakfast and thought it was included since there was no price mentioned, and since the receptionist didn't mention anything to us. It turned out that we had to pay for it at checkout. All in all we felt unwelcome.
