“Beautiful but a lack of safety.”

It’s a beautiful hotel and a beautiful location. They made a really good effort in designing the place. Downstairs, the lobby and the common area, is really cozy with beautiful materials and real fresh and dried flowers. Also a nice outside terrace, pool table. Upstairs where the rooms are coming is really minimalistic and white. The rooms are minimalistic too. Clean and simple. Breakfast was excellent.

The room, with it's own enclosed balcony was fantastic. The general decor was eclectic and entertaining. A wonderful place to stay.

“Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.”

Clean, comfortable and warm hotel. Beautifully decorated with comfy seating areas dotted around. The room's enclosed balcony was a real sun trap.. Friendly owners and a welcoming, cosy bar. The breakfast was exceptional with eggs, sausages, bacon, cold meat and cheese, croissants and cakes.

We loved our stay here - it really exceeded our expectations. The room/apartment (with very comfortable double bed, sofabed and kitchenette and conservatory type space with gallery windows) was fab. The communal space downstairs and outside was beautifully decorated and the garden and covered pool were delightful. Lovely owners. I'd really recommend this place for a stay at any time of year. Lovely breakfast was served in the morning. Dinner was not offered but there is a lovely burger restaurant 2 mins drive (15 mins walk) down the road.

The hotel is situated in a very tranquil and peaceful area. The rooms are very spacious, clean and modern. The reception area and bar area is so calm and so much love has gone into the decor and upkeep of the property. The gardens are amazing and very well kept - even better the pool is fantastic. Stunning boutique hotel, outstanding attention to detail throughout the hotel and gardens. Great parking, great tasty breakfast and first class staff ! We have stayed during the skiing season and also in full summer and is always stunning scenery in that part of Cantabria.

We love these smaller kind of family run places. Lovely and very hospitable staff. They are really happy to have you. Rooms are big and clean. Breakfast fantastic. Dinner also very good. And it is really very quite at night.

“Bike Trip Lodging”

Town/Location in Town: Very small hamlet with nothing in it. The hotel is right on the road, but the road is very quiet a night. Area: There's a great restaurant in easy walking distance down the road. Hotel: The hotel was beautiful with many different seating areas to be able to relax in the evening. Also a covered pool with outdoor and indoor chairs. Hosts/Staff: One very friendly and one helpful but not as friendly. Noise at night: very quiet location. Room was quiet, but could hear noise from the corridor. But best lodging yet for this. Common Spaces: lots of separate little seating areas to allow relaxation. Also a pool table. Room: Bed was very comfortable, and there was a separate seating area. The bathroom was clean and functional, though the door to the toilet jams. There was not much separate storage space. Breakfast: Breakfast was not included, and we left before knowing if it was served or not. Bike Storage: a covered room that was secure. Extras: A pear tree on site with delicious pears!

Our second visit to this relaxing, beautiful hotel. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, the hotel is luxurious and spotlessly clean. We loved breakfast, even though we don't eat meat.
