Customer service was friendly and helpfull. We canselled our staying and he was understanding and our payment was giving back. Location is nice, but surroundings, yard, was not taking care. I do really hope someone gives money and effort and buy the hotel and build a new one behalf of this old one, coz location is nice looking near the famous beach.

We use this hotel every summer for it's value for money, friendliness, freedom of movement, location, space, views and the retro feel. Also breakfast is totally adequate.

“Stuck in the 80s and would need some basic maintenance, but a special adventure to the past”

It's like a blast from the past, like time would have stopped in the 80s. The place has seen it's best days,, everything is "best before" a long time ago, but I guess that's the charming part of it. Location is superb and in the era of big branded hotel chains this place is, how should I place my words, different. If you want to try something that looks and feels like something from a Kaurismäki movie, then this is the place for you. In our room the beds were great and all the linen and towels were clean, that's about everyhting that can be called clean in this place. There's a lot of long spooky corridors and hallways to have nightly adventures in, the closed spa and all the conference areas are great places to play some Scary Movie hide and seek.

- close to the shops and gas station, - the size of the room is more than enough for one person, - a lot of space for the luggage, - small fridge inside the desk, - good breakfast with many options (worm and cold) but just one option for hot beverage (not so good coffee), - very helpful receptionist.

The location was excellent, breakfast was great - included hot chocolate. Value for money. Only thing missing for us was the piano not being in tune.

Reasonably good breakfast. Good central location in Sotkamo next to beach, pesäpallo-stadium and all other services. Location on a hill is also quite beautiful. Good space for parking. You cannot complain about the price for two people.

Great location for dog owners, walk your pet straight outside the room in forest and on the beautiful beach. Although there was just a handful of guests, everything was perfect and friendly.
