“Nikki is the most amazing host!”

Nikki has created the cosiest and most relaxing oasis here! Such a beautiful place and the rooms are absolutely stunning. It’s only a short walk down to a beach, which we had all by ourselves the day we went. We enjoyed so much relaxing by the pool with Bella the dog and the cats! Would love to come back!

the host 'Nicky' is an angel, she is super welcoming and her place is a little paradise to disconnect.

Niki is simply phenomenal. From the first moment he gave me such genuine and close attention that he made me feel at home, as if he knew me all my life. His warmth is also reflected in his collaborators, who with the same dedication and kindness create a unique atmosphere. The kittens and the puppy give it a special touch, bringing tenderness and joy to the experience. The photos could never convey what it really feels like to be there: the energy, authenticity and beauty of the place exceed any expectations. I loved it from start to finish, and I definitely recommend it with all my heart.

The hotel itself is not very big, so it felt like I was visiting a friend in the suburbs: it’s very quiet and you literally live in the garden, full of trees, flowers and birds. I was there in off season, so I was the only guest and I had the pool to my own. The room was super cozy and comfortable, I had everything I needed. I liked Nikki’s attention to details everywhere around the property: starting with styling of the room and ending with beach stuff available for you (like umbrellas, beach fridge, etc). Breakfasts were simple but very delicious. There’s a kitchen outdoors with BBQ facilities. The whole property is behind the barrier and the territory felt very safe, there are also several parking spots at the property. Each room has its own internet router, and the quality was pretty good. At first I couldn’t find a way to the beach, so ask for directions in advance, but when I finally got there, I could see why people were saying about semi-private beach in reviews: not very big, quite clean, no restaurants or sunbeds (although might be because I was in off season there). Bella-the-dog was accompanying me to the beach and guarding me there all the time :) there are also three very cuddly kitties on the territory :) Overall I liked the place very much, Nikki is super nice and helpful, it felt like home. I will definitely recommend this place and stay there again if I’m back to the country.

Lovely place to stay. Really close to the Airport. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Delicious breakfast. Rooms are super clean and quiet we had wonderful rest.

“A peaceful beautiful oasis - perfect for a relaxing time out”

This accommodation is just what you need to enjoy Sosua and surrounding the best. Thanks to the lovely host Nikki who cares great for her guests and it feels like family. The rooms are very tidy and the furniture & fittings modern and beautiful. You really feel relaxed, the moment you are there. very beautiful Garden/ pool area and even the option to make BBQs. It is an oasis for spending holidays. If we travel back to Sosua for sure we will book Garden By the Sea again.

“A relaxing place to stay during a flight delay.”

The room was comfortable and quiet. Nikki is a lovely host. Breakfast was great. We were only there for 12 hours - a last minute, emergency booking - but it was the perfect place to decompress a little and relax.

This was a wonderful find and our "safe place" on holiday. Nicky went out of her way to make us feel at home and nothing was too much for her when helping us with questions, advice and our comfort.

Breakfast was cheap and very tasty, prepared on the spot from fresh ingredients. Niki (the host) was a very kind and helpful person. She made the whole stay so much better and the next time I think about going to DR, she will be the first person I will contact.

We booked Garden by the Sea at the last minute to spend a few days at the beach. We left feeling like we visited long lost family for the weekend! This place is a gem. Nikki is the most delightful host; warm, helpful, great suggestions for restaurants, etc. The property is lovely and peaceful, steps from a small, quiet beach. The pool area is very nice and the room is a very good size with lots of small amenities and touches. Can't say enough good things. Thank you Nikki, we will be back!

Great welcoming host with friendly dog, beautiful patio with the pool, hamack and even chairs you can take with you to the nearby beach. Clean rooms, drinkable water avaliable for you all the time, bar were you take whatever you want and pay after. Very friendly atmosphere.

Nikki was very friendly and helpful. It is in a very quiet area. I did not have a car so you need to take a motoconcho or taxi to go into town and to the beaches. Again , the owner Nikkie, was extremely friendly and helped me to get taxis to get me where I needed to go.

Beautiful tranquil accommodation with extremely helpful host. Really enjoyed breakfast too.
