Breakfast was controlled and of excellent quality. The location was very very special and good for those looking for something out of the ordinary. The evening meal was an experience in itself gourmet food locally sourced. Very expensive but worth trying at least once.

Great location with view on the Westfjord and Å. Very nice and friendly people in the Service. Small place for only a few guests. Dinner is very nice but expensive due to many courses. Breakfast is a la cart and takes time.

Its a well looking accommodation but way overpriced for what you get. Shower has good power! The Breakfast what we could order was very tasty. But has to be ordered - in my opinion it would be better having a small buffet (this is not negative just to mention it!)

One of the best places I've been. So beautiful. What an amazing view from the room. The food was delicious. Michelin worthy. And the staff, well they made our stay even more pleasant. So friendly and caring. That definitly stands out. Thank you for the amazing days. And keep the excelent work.

The place is incredible! And the restaurant offers a great taste into local cuisine with a modern touch. And the beds are so gooood.

The dedication to locally produced goods (including an exceptional breakfast) and environmental care meant that the surroundings were pristine and we saw a lot of beautiful local birds and one of the best views in Lofoten. The lady at reception was also very helpful for hiking and gave us some great options

“Wonderful family owned gem of a hotel, excellent food, location, and staff!”

Staff were wonderful and friendly, daily breakfast was fantastic, excellent coffee, and the cocktail menu and dinner menu was also great. I loved the location of the hotel (luckily saw the Northern lights directly above!), it was proximate to great hikes, and I really enjoyed how focused the hotel was on engaging with local businesses and produce (like seeing staff coming back from picking berries in the morning). The room was cosy, neat and warm with a great view.

Beautiful surroundings and amazing food

Holmen is a remarkable place - design, luxury, authenticity, and incredible food in a spectacular and remote location. It's family-owned and run, and we really appreciated the warmth and generosity of the staff.

“As picturesque as the photos suggest”

Incredible location, everything is beautifully presented, view from our room was like looking at a painting. Didn’t get to sample the dinner menu (outside our budget unfortunately) but the included breakfasts were excellent
