Breakfast not so good: as I arrive to the venue most of the food was over and no staff was there to ask if I would require something else; Mosquito net not provided in the room, as well as hand washing towel!

Among the hotels in the area with swimming pools, Sparrow offers one of the best value-for-money experiences. The pool is perfect—1.4 to 2.4 meters deep, making it perfect for swimming. It’s also large enough to accommodate guests without feeling crowded. The pool area includes sunbeds, umbrellas for shade, and a poolside bar for refreshing drinks, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The food was another highlight. The French onion soup and carrot-ginger soup were absolutely delicious, and the stuffed chicken breast was cooked to perfection. The menu has clearly been crafted with care, and the flavors were delightful. While the hotel isn’t brand-new, renovations are underway to freshen it up, which is great to see. During my stay, there was a women’s conference-seminar happening, which created a lively and positive atmosphere. It was inspiring to see the hotel supporting such meaningful events. The location, slightly outside the city, ensures a peaceful night’s sleep, free from the usual urban noise. The hotel is surrounded by a green garden area where you can sit, eat, and unwind in tranquility. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a long day.

I enjoyed my stay here so much! The staff where the kindest people, the chef is the best, he can cook you the best meals in the world. I stayed here for a month and really felt like home. My balcony view was amazing, my bed was the best after staying with a local family. Also I felt very safe in this place, there are enough guards both day and night and they are very serious about their job. Also the cleaning staff is too kind, and from what I have experienced (I talked to a lot of staff and get to know them a bit) your valuables are safe in your room!

The hotel has enough place and compound, the swimming pool was a bonus since the weather was so hot .

It had a beautiful view on the Soroti rock from a distance. The place was clean.

Amazing Staff, the food was great, I enjoyed the sunset, and I caught it time. It was a great decision to make a stop on our way to Kidepo National Park. Perfect place.

May be we found the hotel on a bad day. Staff excellent. Made up for the disappointment. WiFi really good. Fruit juice delighted. Beds big and comfortable. Good scrambked egg General place nice to be at..

“Mediocre Stay”

Everything mediocre. Not horrible, not good, just somewhere in the middle not a place I would recommend but neither warn against. Also make sure you book directly as for some reason booking through booking.com is 25% more expensive.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. Had the use of the pool.

Excellent business hotel. I spent one night in a triple room. The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The rooms and common areas were clean. Very nice staff. Very good dinner. Good breakfast buffet. I ate spaghetti and found them good, not excellent but good (I'm Italian). Excellent value for money. Recommended for foreign businessmen.
