Overview
Nestled in the Renon Plateau, Drei Birken hotel offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a panoramic balcony. Located 2 km from the Renon cable car, it also features a restaurant and garden. Set on 2 floors, Drei Birken’ s rooms have mountain-style décor. They come with carpeted or parquet floors, and partially wood panelled walls. The private bathroom is complete with toiletries and a hairdryer. You can start you day with a buffet breakfast consisting in cold cuts and cheese along with fruit salad, yoghurt and homemade jams. Breakfast is served in a hall with wood-burning stove. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant serves international and South Tyrol cuisine. Soprabolzano is a 5-minute drive away while Bolzano Train Station is reachable in 25 minutes by car. The centre of Renon is 4 km from the property. A small local train stops next door and links with other towns nearby. The area is ideal for hiking. The property also has free outdoor parking and a pine wooden lounge with a typical wood-burning stove and books in German and in Italian for all age ranges.

“Beautiful, peaceful accommodation in the mountains”
I loved everything about staying in Drei Birken! The room was very modern, peaceful and super clean. It was wonderful to have a balcony with a mountain view. The room had everything I needed for a perfect stay. The owners were super friendly and the overall atmosphere made me feel like I was a house guest – I really felt welcome. I am forever thankful that I found this accommodation! I haven't felt as peaceful in a long while as I felt here. Thank you!

Located far above Balzano, this retreat in the mountains included everything we needed. Modern rooms, exceptional service, an excellent restaurant, and a quiet atmosphere.

driving up to the hotel was the most beautiful drive I’ve ever done. it’s incredibly beautiful and the staff are awesome. I got there late when the kitchen was closed, and they still cooked me something to eat because I was hungry. they are amazing here

Great location. Use of bus and/or train was easy and for free. Liked all in the hotel, friendly owner and personnel. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Would recommend this hotel to everybody.

Very handy location next to the Rittenbahn tram stop so no car needed. All modern and clean with extensive breakfast spread and friendly staff. All day cafe and restaurant on premises. Be careful not to eat too much and opt for half board to save money.

A Wonderful location only 200 metres from the stop Wolfsgruben on the Rittnerbahn. Very nice room and clear sheets every day. An extra bonus is the Rittnerpas which give you free rides on all local transportation! And at last - a very fair price.
