“It could have been great....”
This could have been a wonderful vacation ( location, surroundings, the house and its amenities) but it was overshadowed by the fact that the owner -or anyone else- wasn't around and didn't respond to our messages until the next morning when we were on our way home. We tried to solve some minor problems ourselves, but the main problem, no sheets and duvet for the fifth bed couldn't be solved. We checked every cupboard and drawer in the place, but nothing. In the end, as the couch smelt bad, my husband spent the night in the 'easy' chair with one of the throws that was around. It was the most expensive sleepless night ever. Also, it felt a bit eery that we seemed to be on this large property all by ourselves. It was very quiet and dark( which we usually love!) but during the night there were some funny and loud noises, but we didn't see a soul. Hospitality is all about feeling welcome and that feeling was missing.

“A beautiful bungalow in a great location in town.”
The bungalow is beautiful, lovely decor and furniture. It is spacious and very well equipped. Two big bedrooms and bathrooms. Location was great 15 min walk into town but also 20 min walk to the wineries so no driving needed. The host lives in another bungalow on site so was available if needed.

It is a very nice home with good privacy in a convenient location with respect to downtown Sonoma. The home was generally clean and comfortable. Directions on accessing the home were easy to follow.
