Overview
This family-run hotel is set on the bank of the Mallero River, 400 metres from the station. It is connected by a private walkway to the pedestrian centre of Sondrio. Each guest room at Albergo Europa is complete with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi access. Your room overlooks either the mountains or the rooftops of Sondrio. Downstairs you will find a hall, reading room, bar, and restaurant. Simply ask at reception about renting a mountain bike. The friendly team of staff can organise guided tours to the surrounding wineries for you. The restaurant at Albergo Europa is open at both lunch and dinner and serves a delicious mix of regional and Italian specialities. A breakfast buffet is served daily. Guests enjoy free outdoor parking at the hotel, based on availability, and also free parking at a garage located 400 metres away. A further garage is also available 100 metres from the hotel, and comes at extra charge.

Very clean, parking, I couldn't take the breakfast I had to leave early, but the lady on early morning reception offered to make me a coffee for my journey ahead which I thought was a lovely gesture and she certainly went the ""extra mile" 😀

“Recommended stay”
Lovely hotel close to restaurants with a nice view overlooking the river. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included delicious pastries, cakes and fresh breads.

This was a really nice hotel and more luxurious than I was expecting for the price in this area. Everything clean and nice. The employees were helpful and the breakfast was very good, plus I had a wonderful and rather romantic view over the river.

Wonderfully friendly, clean, comfortable, and cool - which was what we needed after a hard day cycling the Sentiero Valtellina. Great location close to the centre of Sondrio with amazing views over the mountains and valley

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We could park our bikes in the garage and charge them up. The location is just perfect, in the old town, very convenient.

Lovely family-run hotel. Great AC, available round the clock on request, so if you need somewhere cool in summer, this is the place to come. Perfect location, right in the centre, beside Piazza Garibaldi and the beautiful Mallero river. Comfortable. Nice continental breakfast. Delightful staff.

Excelent location. View to river and moutains is amazing. Bed was super comfy. Staffs were very kind and nice. Good breakfast.
