This hotel has a 1970’s vibe. I don’t know if it’s family run but it feels that way. We were very well looked after and we had dinner in the hotel - exceptional food and service. Wonderful view from my bedroom. Garage parking for our motorcycles. I would come back here.

“Nice hotel with parking”

Nice hotel far from centre. You need go there by car. Moto parking in garage was fine. Wifi was ok in room and lobby. Helpfull staf.

Spotless clean, the owner and staff were fantastic, the use of the garage for our motorbikes, peaceful and quiet area

The location is very beautiful, the hotel is very well kept, sort of 20th Century cool style. The bathrobe provided was pure luxury. The staff is truly welcoming and extremely professional.

All was super just like hotels use to be and are keen to help and give you professional service.

View from the room of mountains, opened balcony; friendly, helpful staff - young lady assisted in taking my bags to the room which was greatly appreciated; wonderful breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, and beautiful pastries and breads. Lobby area was also very quaint and homely with a fireplace. Parking out front

“Exceptional”

Cozy and clean hotel with nice view to Sondrio town and mountains in a quite place, hotel place is easy reachable by car from western end, parking in front of the hotel, very friendly staff and good communication, tasty and excellent breakfast. As it was very hot days in Italy so air conditioning was a must in the room.

We booked this hotel as a stopover for 1 night travelling back from Italy to the UK. The hotel is quite large but in a small and quiet village on the hillside overlooking Sondrio town. The owner welcomed us directly and offered his garage for the motorbikes. He also ran the restaurant which was of a very high standard - the food and the service were excellent (actually the best we had during our whole stay in Italy) and the location in the very nice garden at the back of the hotel. Our twin room had aircon, most welcome given it was 38deg.

location was around 2km from the center of Sondrio, we knew this. Rooms were big, with a nice private balcony. Breakfast had a limited but good choice of food. We were given secure garaged parking for our motorbikes. Bedroom had all you needed, good shower and comfy beds, quiet too. The restaurant was closed, we knew this, so can't rate the food.
