We stayed here as part of our trip for the Winter Olympics and were truly blown away. The location in Sondrio is stunning, the facilities at the guest house are modern, clean, and our boys in particular loved the swimming pool with the mountain view. The rooms were comfortable, the triple room with balcony in particular was lovely and very nice private bathroom/shower room. Lucia is an exceptional host, great communication wise, answered all the questions we had before and during our stay. The hotel also offers a shuttle service which was very useful to go from the guest house to Sondrio station for €25 each way, which considering a taxi quote we had was €40 for the same journey, we felt was very reasonable. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, but particularly Lucia 😊 she helped with getting us to and from the station, arranging a takeaway for the evening we arrived late, and did a little breakfast take out for the morning we left early to get to our Olympics event in Livigno. Breakfast had a great range of items, but also the personal touch of home baked treats, it felt more like we had been welcomed into their home rather than staying in a guest house. We came for the Winter Olympics but will definitely be coming back for a longer stay to relax, take in the views, enjoy the pool and explore the area around Sondrio as we didn't get to do much of that this time round.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Picturesque in the mountains. Lovely size room, clean and comfortable. Pool and sauna were a lovely addition. Lucia was very attentive and was easily reachable for any questions. The shuttle service was a great bonus for us going to the train station for the Winter Olympics!

Are you ready to relax? This where Cassandres welcoming words at the gate. after hiking for a few days this is the best place to relax. we enjoyed the beautiful design and worm hospitality. we had one night only which was too short.

Absolutely fantastic guesthouse. Amazing pool, honesty bar with fantastic local beer and wine. Free fruit! Spectacularly situated with incredible views. Breakfast was wonderful. Lucia was incredibly welcoming and made us feel extremely at home - even recommending some good local takeaways for dinner.

“Stunning views in modern striking guesthouse above the valley”

We echo the other reviews about this striking modern guesthouse in Mossini with amazing views, above Sondrio and the valley. We had a delightful corner room with a generous balcony giving us great views, and which were echoed in the breakfast / lounge area on the floor below, The always open swimming pool, with spa jets, was lovely. Lucia was an interested, warm and helpful hostess, offering suggestions as where to eat, etc.. We did find our room rather warm but Lucia provided an electric fan. Free electric charging is available in the garage (lower lane entrance), and there is also a Tesla Supercharging Station called Sondrio about 15 minutes west of Sondrio; it is called Sondrio on the Tesla charging map, efficient but badly signed!

The property is spotless clean and modernly furnished with breathtaking views. The pool area is wonderful with a heated pool area boosting mountain views whilst having a relaxing dip. Highly recommended. Special thanks to Lucia who was a wonderful host.

The host was very welcoming to every guest, making this stay a fantastic experience. Highly recommended! The overall environment and rooms were very clean and tidy. The space was also large, and there was even a balcony. The swimming pool and sauna were excellent, with no time restrictions. After skiing, it was the perfect way to relax. Breakfast was delicious, with handmade croissants and desserts. Paired with the stunning view, it was a wonderful way to start the day. I truly loved this place—every detail reflected the host’s dedication. I will definitely visit again in the future!

We had an incredible stay at Guest House Le Cassandre in Sondrio. The heated swimming pool and sauna were perfect for winter relaxation. Lucia, the host, was warm and welcoming, preparing a fresh and delicious breakfast every morning. The breathtaking view of Sondrio from the hotel made our stay even more special. Highly recommended for a cozy and relaxing getaway!

The room was clean, the fridge well equipped and affordable! Parking spot to leave your car. The breakfast was really good, and the staff very polite and eager to help you out with any request! Generally speaking, 150% recommended! 😊

Charming and newly refurbished guest house with an excellent breakfast and great views. Very easy to reach from Sondrio. Very much enjoyed the swimming pool and were very well looked after by the host! Would definitely go again.
