The property is located by the sea with fishermen nearby to who you can have a conversation with.

Overall, a nice place place with very friendly amd polite Senegalese staff, good bar and restaurant, clean rooms, good beds, lovely garden and small pool.

“Fabulous hidden gem”

Located a few metres from Somone beach but with a secret garden teeming with colourful birdlife - and the odd hedgehog! Very friendly staff, and a relaxing pool area with loungers. Rooms are in individual bungalows in the gardens, with plenty of privacy to sit outside and watch the wildlife. The bungalows are well-appointed with comfy beds and mosquito nets (not that there were many mosquitos around). You're also close to the village centre and restaurants, although the food at the hotel is excellent and great value. The lagoon is within walking distance down the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay! The garden was so well looked after it was like a little oasis and the pool area was really nice too. Some of the staff spoke English (which is a bonus) and were really friendly and attentive. The location was good too, right on the beach and just a short walk from the lagoon.

“Felt like home”

Friendly but not intrusive staff who treated you like a member of the family. One of the dogs (Rico) was particularly friendly! Location was great, away from the main road, next to the beach and within a lovely beach walk to the lagoon. All excursions and transfers booked within the property were delivered safely, professionally and punctually. Breakfast maybe could’ve had a little more variety over the course of the week but what we had was plentiful, fresh and delicious.

the enclosed area is green dotted with trees, shrubs, flower plants. it is a well maintained manicured garden.., we noticed a number of birds chirping. some are quite colorful. the cottage is clean and comfortable. we enjoyed sitting outside the cottage and also beside the pool. the breakfast is more than basic and generous. but the three course dinner was the highlight of our stay- delicious and reasonably priced.

We were able to check in early which we appreciated. The owners were very welcoming. The place is really nice, the bungalow is spacious and there's a good ceiling fan which was silent, very rare to find! The pool was very nice too, good for a dip as the ocean can be a bit rough for swimming. The restaurant offers set meals with 3 options. Literally one minute to the beach and 20 minutes walk to the Lagune.
