Overview
The charming Hotel Torres de Somo is located in the peaceful Cantabrian village of Somo, near a sandy beach and only 20 minutes from Santander. Set in the area known as ‘Green Spain’ due to its lush vegetation and pleasant climate, the hotel is surrounded by a spectacular pine forest which separates it from the beach, 300 metres away. Take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool or simply relax on the covered terrace with a drink from the informal cafeteria. After the sun goes down you can then head to the comfortable classic lounge area to finish off the day in style.

“Disappointment, spoiled by the restaurant.”
The breakfast was good except for the third morning when there was nothing left as there had been a big party staying the night before. The waitress was charming and good at her job.

“Great place and Great room service. Breakfast service should improve.”
The venue for breakfast was very nice and the items if you reached them as soon as they were made were tasty. Davide was really helpful and gave us an outstanding room service when we arrived to the hotel including the check in.

“Beautiful building but entrance and dining room need attention but are maybe mid refurbishment? Not”
The external hotel looked amazing and the location was good. It was clean ans comfortable. The food in the restaurant in the evening was very good it was just a shame the dining room was so empty and lacked any character. One waitress stood in the middle waiting for us and others to finish which made a quiet atmosphere. She didn’t appear to have anywhere else to go and it was weird just standing there all evening when she wasn’t delivering food etc. she was very good for service.

“Very disappointed”
The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The stuff were nice, but that didn’t change how cold the reception was bought in temperature and atmosphere.
