Overview
This modern hotel enjoys great views over Santander Bay, and is just 350 metres from the unspoilt beach of Somo. It is surrounded by gardens and green fields. Set in the area of Ribamontán al Mar, Cantabria, the Alemar looks out over a fantastic natural landscape which includes the 8 km-long beaches of Loredo, Somo and Puntal. This coastline is popular for surfing, sailing and paragliding. The Royal Golf Club of Pedreña is right beside the hotel and the regional capital of Santander is just a 20 km drive away. Inland you will find the beautiful mountainous Cabárceno nature park.

Very good location. Reasonable price. Very accommodating owner. Super clean and very good service. Very light room and had rolling shutters so you could sleep in easily!

“A perfectly reasonably priced comfortable hotel.”
Breakfast was simple, lovely coffee, orange juice, croissant and or tostada with fruit to follow...a perfect start to the day! served by the charming owner Alejandro and his family who went out of their way to please us at all times.Parking was good at the hotel with an an easy walk into town, restaurants and beach.We had a truly lovely five days and will return.

“we stayed there for two nights during Semana Santa”
i loved Alejandro at the hall, he was super kind and we had some very nice conversations. there was also space to park, which is super good, and the location was perfect! a very nice town there.
