We had a fantastic stay with Liz and Tom - welcoming hosts. Wonderful breakfast in the garden every morning, quiet surroundings, beautiful pool area with views over the roof tops. We stayed in the family suite, very spacious and with a small kitchen.

Hotel de L'Orange is a real gem that we will be going back to in the future. We stayed for 3 nights with a 9 month old, and it was the most refreshing and re-energising stay. Liz and Tom were excellent hosts, they made sure we were comfortable, our room was more of a suite with a kitchenette, which was ideal as we had all of the baby's kit to clean and sterilise every day. Our delight was the design of the hotel. As soon as you walk in through the gardens, the courtyard and the ground floor you can tell that the owners love this place and have curated the rooms with originality. The breakfast was perfect, simple but quality fruit, breads and spreads with beautiful place settings. And the rosé wine delivered to the room was delicious and refreshing on a hot day. As the hotel is built into the hill, the swimming pool is on the roof where you get lovely views of Sommieres and the local church tower.

Really friendly and helpful hosts, Tom and Elizabeth made us feel most welcome and arranged for a chauffeur driven car to take is in style to the friends wedding we attended. Centrally situated in Sommiers so a short walk to a range of restaurants. Lovely room but would have liked a door onto the bathroom, which was spacious. Great rooftop views and relaxing area with pool. Good value for money and fun quirky place. Great breakfasts! Paula and Peter

A beautiful period French house completely unspoilt. The breakfasts were wonderful, probably the best we have had in France and the setting for them was delightful. The rooftop pool and gardens, with magnificent views and shady bowers, will provide many happy memories in the depth of an English winter. We could not have been better cared for.

We loved everything. It’s hard to sum up the best bits, but it would have to be one of the following; dragging Tom from a long lunch to check us in, breakfast in the courtyard with homemade jam and mismatch cups and plates and freshly squeezed orange juice or the rooftop pool in the centre of a quintessentially French town beside the local church. Tom and Liz are exceptional hosts and have created a slice of paradise. The house itself is mind blowing, add Liz’s touches and Tom’s pops of colour, dare I say Hotel L’Orange reaches near perfection.
