The property was easy walking distance from the bus stop. A great location. The property was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The hosts Oscar and Ava were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay easy for us.

Immaculately clean and tidy. Never stayed anywhere so clean. Lovely bedroom looking out over the fjord. Cosy communal lounge and dining area. Owner and staff were very friendly.

Beautiful location. The house itself, the furnishings and gardens are beautiful and relaxing. Extremely pleasing colours throughout and has a very lovely lounge and additional seating areas to enjoy, each with different views. A unique property. The ability to use the kitchen to make teas and coffees and a fridge to store drinks and food was appreciated. Breakfast was good.

“It did the job but not totally enjoyable”

The location was good and with lots of space, washing machine worked as well as bathroom. Free parking was a bonus.

We had the best time at Villa Solvorn! Such a good location that gave you easy walking access to the water. Oskar and his team were so welcoming and helpful! They prepared a great breakfast spread.

Its beautiful location, the rooms and individuality and uniqueness of the house and its garden, its decor was amazing, and the owner was lovely.

Beautiful house outside and inside, cozy, comfortable, clean. Our room has a magnificent view to the sea, from the balcony. Warm welcoming from the owners and staff. Walking distance, 5 minutes, to the ferry for Urnes Starv church.

We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Dear Oskar, thank you for everything and sunny greetings to your wife too ;)

“Fjord-side gem !”

The owners have clearly put a lot of love into this property. Beautifully decorated, with interesting ceramics & gorgeous gardens. Deluxe (shared) bathrooms & a beautiful kitchen that guests can use.

Guesthouse is in a spectacular location by the Lustrafjord. The only restauarnt in town, Kvitabui, serves fantastic meals of fresh seafood from he fjord and game. The setting is on the pier with a large open air patio overlooking the fjord. Service was fantastic.

Very nice b&b with friendly owner and helper. Good selection at breakfast. Very quiet area so bring a good book 😁

“Beautiful house.”

Beautiful home, nicely decorated, cosy. Amazing breakfast with freshly baked waffles.

Solvorn is a lovely place and the Villa Solvorn was in a great location, especially as we came by public transport. Breakfast was freshly prepared for us by a lovely French woman. Everything was very clean. Only one other couple staying when we were there and they were lovely too.

“Great villa in super charming village”

Very charming villa located in a very charming village in Sognefjord. The villa was in general very well kept and executed. It was all the small details that impressed us: comfortable beds, good bathrooms and showers, very clean, good locks on individual rooms, code lock on main entry, high quality kitchen utensils and cutlery for everyone to use. You could really see the villa wasn't cheaply put together to make an extra buck, but that they've really put in the effort. Also the gardens around were amazing, little streams of water and fountains with a lot of flowers and plants here and there, with several sitting groups for people to use. The staff was very friendly especially the French girl who made us eggs and bacon in the morning. Owned by a very nice couple.
