“Quite part of a nice village with helpful landlord.”
Good location, not far from Autobahn. Soltau is actually a nice village that probably deserves more than one night. The landlord was very friendly and gave excellent advise on a restaurant within walking distance. The breakfast was very good with several choices of bread, ham and cheese, as well as a cooked egg. The Wifi worked excellently.

The owners of Pensions Mertens were great hosts. The room and en-suite were spacious, comfortable and clean and check in was easy. The breakfast was very tasty and was served at a time of our choice which was quite early as we were visiting Heide Park. They gave us a brilliant recommendation for a local brewery restaurant which was the best meal of our stay! Thanks for having us!
