Overview
Only 3.5 km away from the lifts at the Wilder Kaiser/Brixental Ski Resort, Hotel Berghof offers a spa and a sunbathing terrace. It also has a restaurant, and in winter its own après-ski bar. All rooms here have a private balcony or terrace with mountain views. Satellite TV is also standard in every room. The bathrooms have a bathtub or a shower and heated towel racks. Spa facilities at Berghof Hotel include a steam bath, sauna and infrared cabin. You can also warm up by the fireplace in the small lounge room. The restaurant serves national specialities and a rich buffet breakfast. There is also a winter garden, and Wi-Fi is free in all public areas. You can rent ski equipment and buy ski passes directly at the hotel. A cross-country ski track runs just across the street. Söll’s centre is 3 km away from the hotel. Children can visit the petting zoo, with rabbits, cats and goats. There are also free pony rides and a play ground in the garden.

We were offered a room upgrade, which was lovely. I liked how well the space was organized, and that the hotel amenities had been removed from the room price so we could only pick what we wanted.

“Great fun for a short stay and very well priced!”
The room was very spacious, the host was very accommodating of our late arrival and we even received an upgrade to a larger room

Location for us was good, a little out of the way and not within walking distance to anything really. Secure parking is a bonus. Onsite bar and restaurant are a little pricey for the area

“I do not recommend it.”
A very small and uncomfortable room; all facilities in the hotel are subject to an additional charge - for example, the mini-sauna zone costs 40 euros per person. Breakfast costs 29 euros per person - more expensive than in Monaco. On top of that, the hotel later called us to say we hadn’t paid for breakfast🤦♂️. There are 1,000 “No” signs all over the hotel grounds! It feels like everything is forbidden! I do not recommend it.

This hotel were surprise already from kilometres before, when it became visible - it looked like cruise ship with many lights. Halloween was celebrated there already and in best and most memorable way and whole hotel was following Halloween concept. And it was not some spiders and pumpkins in the corner - this was full house story and was incredible! Good choice anytime over the seasons!
