Large resort, excellent staff, food was great. Rooms quite large and well equipped. 2 pools to relax with cocktails, great sunset, sunrise tours, walks and day trips. We had a great experience and would highly recommend.

The lodge is beautifully made, clean, the staff is friendly, staying here was the right decision. The food is plentiful and delicious. My children enjoyed the pools and watching the wild animals that came to the lodge.

The location is carefully chosen by the lodge owners. It is probably one of the most beautiful places to stay in terms of surroundings. They do a wonderful sunset drive around the area exclusively owned by them. Food is great. Service with some minor remarks is also at a very high level

(1) The hotel’s very attentive staff, especially Rudi, who went the extra mile to help us to repair a flat tire. (2) The hotel’s guides, especially Elvienne, an excellent professional. (3) Breakfast - full of delicious meals for all tastes! (4) Dinner - the same! (5) The swimming pools. (6) The nice atmosphere. (7) Good WiFi signal all over the premises.

The lodge is strategically located, less than 1h drive from Sessriem, on the outskirt of a mountain in a very nice position. The rooms are modern, super clean and spacious, sorrounded by a green garden with many trees. The common areas are equally well equipped, clean and well maintained. The breakfast provides a large number of choices for food. The value for money of the dinner is extremely advantagious.

The beauty of the scenery where Namib Desert Lodge is situated is not possible to do justice in photos. They have some marked trails you can hike by yourself, but also arrange trips and activities. It's a 2 hr drive from Sossusvlei and, yes, they do arrange daily excursions there - a must! The staff at Namib Desert Lodge were all wonderful - attentive and taking the best care of us. The room I had was great - clean and comfortable. The restaurant had good food - game meat always part of the menu - and they have a good wine cellar. I stayed five days and really relaxed there - enjoyed sitting outside in the lounge chairs with a book and watch a group of oryx/gemsbok come by the water hole just outside the lodge, every afternoon.

The staff were Amazon - super friendly and all the little details were thought about. We woke up on Easter Sunday to some Easter eggs left outside the door which was a nice touch
