Overview
These spacious, air-conditioned bungalows feature warm décor and local touches. Situated near the Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park, the lodge has an outdoor swimming pool with a shaded seating area. Each of the units at Agama Lodge has a deck area with views of the Naukluft Mountains. They also include a writing area, and a private bathroom with a shower. The lodge has a bar and restaurant, which offers guests free breakfast and dinner. The staff are also able to provide information about the hiking trails in the Naukluft Mountains. Free WiFi access is available in the main reception area. The lodge is located 32 km from Solitaire and 51 km from Sesriem, and approximately 50 minutes’ drive from the main gateway of Sossusvlei.

The location was perfect, beautiful views on the mountain range. The staff was super welcoming and thoughtful and the food (buffet) was excellent and quite varied. I had asked for a quiet location and they overachieved.

“We would happily return”
We very much enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable spacious rooms with your own terrace and also a great roof terrace with fantastic views, (there is a bed on the terrace which they will make up for you if you want to sleep there). The parking is right by your door. There is a lovely pool area to relax by after climbing 'Big Daddy" sand dune! It takes around 45 minutes from here to get to the main entrance of the National Park. The staff are first class whilst the food was very good with buffet style one night and a la carte on the other. Thank you to the chefs for providing very good gluten free food. We also very much enjoyed the scorpion and star gazing walk. There are lots of warthogs around the hotel, make sure you are there for their feeding late afternoon. We would happily return.
