Overview
Located in the Slovenian town of Solčava, in the Logarska Valley, Hotel Plesnik offers a newly renovated wellness, ayurvedic and massage centre with an indoor whirpool, a sauna, rest area with panoramic view, outdoor natural pool and a sun terrace with views of the Alps. Guests can sample traditional and international cuisine at the on-site restaurant with a terrace and a bar. All rooms at the Plesnik feature a seating area and a sofa bed, satellite TV and a minibar. Private bathroom provides a shower and hairdryer. Some rooms feature a balcony. Breakfast is served each morning at the hotel restaurant, while free parking is provided on site. Ironing and laundry service are available upon request. Guests can also rent bikes and explore the surrounding nature or take walks and explore the Klemenča cave or hike on the nearby hills of Strelovec, Okrešelj or Ojstrica. Other activities include horseback riding, available 500 metres away, as well as fishing, archery and hunting that can be organised nearby. A bus stop can be found near the property, while Main Bus Station is 7 km away. Nearest airports are in Klagenfurt, 63 km away, and Maribor 118 km from Plesnik Hotel.

Hmmmm…for the excessive price of accommodation and dinner, the only thing that was pleasant besides the delicious food and friendly and fast waiters was the Wallnes or 3 saunas and a large massage jacuzzi, which you could easily reactivate. The outdoor pool was not heated and the water temperature during our visit in mid-June was 15 degrees Celsius. The location of the outdoor loungers with a very nice view of the valley and high mountains is commendable. And of course the dinner, which was organized according to the type of shorter meals, was also intended for this, the appropriate size of the bites in the sense that the more meals you order, the more full you will be, of course, but this would be more expensive. The meals we ordered were delicious and the waiters were very friendly and very fast in serving………

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Everything was perfect – the accommodation was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The surrounding area was stunning, offering breathtaking nature and a peaceful atmosphere. The food was exceptional, and every meal was a delight.

This hotel deserves 10/10 in every aspect. The location is absolutely perfect, and the view from the window is breathtaking — you could admire it endlessly. The spa is outstanding and truly beyond praise. The dinner and tasting menu were incredibly delicious, and the breakfast was excellent as well. Everything about the stay was exceptional. Highly recommended!

The only thing that was not okay was that the pool was closed. It would be great if the hotel informs guests in advance that the pool is not operating - considering the pool is one of the main attractions of the spa of the hotel (otherwise it is just saunas; and therefore the prize should be lowered).

Everything is always perfect here, which is why we love coming back. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. Highly recommended always!

“Perfect place for a digital detox and spa relaxation”
The hotel is set in a beautiful location with a truly unique view, and the birdsong in the morning feels almost magical. We stayed in a double room with a balcony - the space was perfectly sufficient, and both the toilet and bathroom are equipped with proper ventilation. There’s also an infrared lamp by the shower, which is a nice touch. The food in the restaurant is delicious - top-quality, fresh ingredients, well-balanced flavors, and a thoughtfully curated menu.

“Retreat in the heart of Logar Valley”
Beautiful and comfortable hotel in the heart of the Logar Valley. We had a beautiful room with Mountain views, bed was comfortable. The wellness center was fantastic and we went daily. We got massages which were excellent. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options and lunch/dinner were also very good. The team there were all kind and warm, very helpful. Great location for hiking and exploring. Unfortunately pool wasn’t open yet but we understood. All in all-wonderful

“Perfect for a relaxing weekend!”
The room was big and very clean, the spa was amazing, staff was very friendly. I told them it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they organised a surprise in our room. Everything was perfect.

“The hotel is perfect for a peaceful nature getaway”
We spent a wonderful weekend at this hotel with our baby. The nature surrounding the hotel is incredibly beautiful, and the air is crystal clear. The staff is very kind – the girl at the reception even stayed longer just to welcome us, as we were arriving late at night and the roads are a bit challenging to drive, so we were delayed. The beds are so comfortable that we all slept like babies. The hotel is perfect for a peaceful nature getaway, and we would happily return whenever we get the chance.
