We had a lovely stay here. The hosts were very warm and hospitable. They had a little forest bingo game for the kids behind their property and my kids enjoyed that a lot. Beautiful views of the mountains

“Great farmhouse stay with a view”

A great farm house stay. Quick drive to famous goat ice cream and a restaurant with amazing view of the alps. Only thing I would say is the drive up is nerve wrecking

The property is set along the panoramic road, offering the most beautiful view of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps. The room was a great size, with a nice en-suite shower. All rooms are a short walk from a lovely restaurant where you can grab a hearty, local , home cooked meal. Sitting in the garden enjoying the views was an absolute highlight. As further info: Plenty of parking. Caters to vegetarians very well. Lovely staff. Short drive (10 mins) from the start of the most local hikes.

We absolutely loved everything about this place. It had an amazing view, facilities were great, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We could not fault it.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, cared for, and treated like special guests. The meals were delicious and prepared with great attention and love. The place is perfect for families with children. Our kids had plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and enjoy the fairy-tale character trail through the forest. They felt completely at home and didn't want to leave when it was time to go. The views from both the garden and our room were breathtaking, creating a peaceful and magical atmosphere throughout our stay. What made the experience truly special were the hosts. Their hospitality went far beyond what you would expect from a hotel stay—it felt more like visiting family in the countryside than staying at a guesthouse. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly, and memorable getaway.

“Cozy forest stay”

The location is beautiful, surrounded by forest, with great views. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the bungalow, it was tiny but perfect for two of us, very cozy, clean and warm, with a nice new bathroom, and seating outside. It felt private but still like part of the 'community' of houses. We really liked the breakfast (really good selection, we wanted to try everything). They have a great selection of souvenirs. We also loved the local kitties! We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Katja and would gladly return. The location is fantastic—peaceful, surrounded by nature, and free from large tourist crowds. It is especially suitable for families with children, as there is plenty of outdoor space for kids to play safely. The houses are cosy, well-maintained, and well-equipped. Despite being in a mountain area, the heating worked perfectly, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly made our visit special was the hospitality of the owners. They were exceptionally kind, patient, friendly, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. They also prepared some traditional local dishes for us, which were absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The only minor drawback was that the bed in our house felt a little squeezed, making it difficult to get in and out from both sides. However, this was a very small issue compared to the beautiful surroundings and the outstanding friendliness of the hosts. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, authentic, and family-friendly stay in Slovenia.

“Beautiful place to stay in Logar Valley”

This was such an amazing place to stay. The rooms were beautifully constructed, very comfortable and very clean. The view from the property was insanely beautiful. There was free parking on site, and it was very easy to reach nearby attractions (Logar valley, panoramic road etc). Katja was an incredible host and made us feel so welcome. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Logar Valley.

Fabulous, comfortable and cosy accommodation, with stunning mountain views. So beautiful and peaceful. Such a warm welcome from the family and looked after us so well. The breakfast and evening meal were lovely. Choices of local home cooked food was delicious. Enjoyed the sauna, time in the garden and local walks. Highly recommend a stay in this beautiful and special mountain retreat.
