Overview
Located a 15-minute drive from Stavanger, this hotel offers direct access to the 2.5 km long Solastranden Beach. It features a popular beach bar, large sun terraces and a modern spa. The bright and airy rooms of Sola Strand Hotel feature modern décor, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Free tea and coffee-making facilities are provided in each room. Large lunch buffets are served at the Montroyal Restaurant, which is set in a refurbished cigar room from an early 1900s cruise ship. Sola Strand’s à la carte restaurant offers seasonal specialities. For relaxation, the Nordsjøbadet Spa offers saunas, a cold water plunge pool and an indoor swimming pool. Treatments include soothing facials and algae body wraps. Guests can try windsurfing or borrow a bicycle on site during summer.

Very convenient for the airport. …. Booked at very short notice following a late night flight cancellation. Hotel was a pleasant stay overnight… very comfortable . Breakfast has a wide range of options.

Extraordinary service, especially from Sander (the weekend manager) and Alex. The former solved an issue with our room and went well well beyond any expectations in ensuring we were pleased with the resolution/new rooms. The latter spent a lot of time recommending things to do and places to see. Overall, thanks to these 2, our stay was nothing short of amazing !!

“If you don't want a ton of unpleasant surprises, I DO NOT recommend this place”
- Great location, amazing seaview - Fantastic breakfast - Friendly and helpful staff, you need to give a medal to those two people at reception desk who have to deal alone with all those crowds - There was a kettle, tea and coffee in the room which was nice - Nice care package with a sponge, q-tips and cotton pads but only for one person, even though the room was booked for two
