I had a great stay in Gipson Guesthouse. The room was remarkably clean and the host was very attentive. You should know before coming that the mattress is very hard, but if you don't mind that you will enjoy your stay. the location is not ideal and requires taking the bus to go to town and the park.

“Relax, clean and amazing scenary hotel”
Owner was friendy and welcomely even he dose speak only a few words in English. Always quick response for message, super new and clean room! U can see the famouse rock in Mt seoraksan from garden

“Great location and value for money, no locks or lockers”
The location close to the main road without being able to hear it was great. You’re in Sereoksan or Sokcho within a 20 minute drive. The value for money was great, as was sharing the kitchen space with other guests, while we were staying here it was only Koreans. We got offered kimchi and tea, all guests were very friendly and curious about why we traveled here.

“Great and really helpful owner”
It was only a short visit for me as I was visiting the national park (great location to do so) the owner was so helpful and gave me step by step how to get there. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary facilities in the kitchen and bathroom. It was a quiet relaxing get away and had everything you need. The owner even went above and beyond - I had to get a bus early the next morning back to Seoul and the owner kindly drove me to the station. Highly reccomend staying here! Overall great experience

I think this was the only cheap place in Sokcho that I could find. It was clean and the owner is friendly.
