“Great room, pool and kids play areas. Don’t expect to be able to use the kitchen”
Nice clean, large rooms. The mattresses in the second bedroom were so thin and uncomfortable. The main bed was good. The pool and kids play areas were great. This place is advertised as having a kitchen, but other than the fridge it is unuseable as there are no plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, washing up items, microwave, pots or pans etc.

“Great for family with kids.”
These apartments are great for a family vacation with children — clean, tidy, and with comfortable beds. Cleaning is provided only for stays longer than 3 days. There’s a large pool that’s perfect for kids, the deepest 1.2m. Across the road, there’s a walking trail along the lake and a big supermarket. It takes 10min by car till Sokcho beach.

“Very family friendly and perfect of bigger groups”
Room was very bright and clean. Large bathroom, had great water pressure. A/C unit was quiet and kept the room cool. Room had a in room laundry machine which was an added bonus. Room has a minimalist look to it which I like. Windows that open to let in fresh air. They offer a lot of options for families. Lots of restaurants near by within walking distance. Convince store across the street too.

“A hotel for families and not solo travellers”
Room is light and bright. Hotel is near the bus line 7 or 7.1 that heads to the National park, and a 45 min walk to the two main beaches.

“Nice stay in a nice place”
Let's state that right from the start: yes, the place was brand new at the time of the writing, so the facilities looked new, felt new, and even smelled new, and were exactly the way they look in the pictures. But let's be honest also: don't expect to find a luxury resort, we're not in that price range. The kids loved playing in the pool despite the lack of any waterpark-like installation around; but yeah, it's just a pool with a handful of rentable canopies next to it, probably better suited to pool parties with young and attractive folks. There are a few other facilities we did not have the time to try out such as indoor (paid) and outdoor (free) playgrounds for kids, an AV room (no idea what it is), and a fitness centre. A very nice stay overall in a nice city.
