“Exceeded my expectations”

All the reviews said that the owner was super friendly and the food was amazing were right! They brought breakfast to our room in the morning (egg, sausages, toast with butter and jam, mango juice, yoghurt, and fruit). The owner also told us about the neighborhood and showed us everything in the room. The room itself was clean, spacious, and the view was lovely. We only stayed one night, but I'd love to camp out here a whole week one day 🤩🤩🤩

“Perfect, we would love to come back!”

From the moment we arrived Juha went out of his way to make sure our stay was as good as possible, sharing a detailed list of recommendations for the local area and also an annotated map for the national park as we wanted to do some hiking in the morning. We had a pretty tight schedule and he checked all the bus times for us and made sure we knew how long each route would take, which was so helpful! The room was beautiful with breakfast brought up to us in the morning, which was a lovely touch. We left one of our belongings behind which Juha kindly posted to us afterwards, just another one of the many ways that they went above and beyond for us during our stay. Would highly recommend :))

This was our favorite stay of our trip. The host was so kind and helpful, the room was very cozy, full of personality and the view was stunning. The breakfast brought to our room every morning was such a considerate touch. We were so charmed by this Bed & Breakfast - cannot recommend them enough!

“Perfect Stay!”

The owner is absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond. He made sure we knew where all the good places to eat were, which buses to get, which walks to do with our children in the national park and what to see in Sokcho. He was so helpful. The accommodation was so lovely and really traditional which we loved and it felt so homely. It was peaceful and away from the town which we also loved but close enough to quickly get an uber or a bus in to town. He makes an amazing breakfast and went out of his way to accommodate for the children. I also asked him where I could do our laundry in Sokcho and instead, he did it for us in his home free of charge! He is so kind hearted and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. I would highly recommend 😊

Host was very kind and attentive and went out of his way to welcome us and introduce us to the guesthouse and nearby sights. The breakfast was great quality and prepared with care. Good quiet location, a 5 minute walk to the bus stop to Seoraksan national park or Sokcho city and within walking distance of the seafront.

The setting, the space, the terrace, the breakfast and the friendliness of the hosts! (And the coffee!)

“A home away from home”

I really enjoyed my stay there so much, it was the most spacious and nice place I had during my 4 weeks of travelling in South Korea. The owners are just sweethearts and so helpful. Closeby you‘ll find a couple of good restaurants in walking distance and the bus stop to Mt Seoraksan. Casa Seorak is an excellent choice between sea and mountains as the weather can be a little bit unstable as you have so many options for food.

We loved our stay here! Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! I really hope my husband and I will come back to Korea soon, and if so we'll definitely be staying at Casa Seorak again :)

Casa Seorak B&B is a very comfortable place with a lot of space and the furniture is in the traditional Korean style which adds to the cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Our hosts were very gracious, gave us a lot of information about the surroundings and interesting sites to visit. The breakfast was prepared to our preferences and tasted very good. Sokcho is lively, the beaches beautiful and the Seorak National Park is worth every visit! I will come again and can recommend Casa Seorak to everyone!

“Relaxing B&B experience”

Big room, good bed and large tv. Nice with space and a balcony, even though it was too warm to sit outside when we visited. Very nice host and a decent breakfast that was possible to customise.

“Smaller family hotel with apartments / rooms”

It was a smaller family hotel with several apartments / rooms, directly on a road between Sokcho town and Seorak NP. For tourists like us, who came mainly for the Seorak NP, it has a perfect location about 15-20 minutes by car to the main parking place / entry gate of the NP park. The centre of Sokcho town was also about 15-20 minites by car. The owner is a very nice and helpful, he explained us everything during our check in and also during our the whole stay - told us information, answers, showed everything on a map, recommended restaurants etc. We had the stay with breakfasts and the owner prepared them and served them to our room in the mornings. Everything important there was about 20 minutes far from the house.

Our room was very nice and spotlessly clean. The host's warm welcome and his expert advice on how to get around and what to see in the area were really helpful, allowing us to truly make the most of our experience. Overall, it was a great stay.
