“Well-equipped kitchen, but bring eyeshades.”

It was a very nice and homely cottage, good wifi, access to washer and dryer at the stables, peaceful and quiet. We could also go to the stables to pet the horses. Kitchen was very well equipped, with hob, oven, microwave, BBQ grill, dishwasher. Cooking oil, spices were also provided.

Private cottage in a quiet area, perfect for seeing the Snæfellsnes Peninsula area and also an excellent spot for catching the aurora due to low light pollution. Kitchen ammenities were perfect, the house is very cosy and warm. We stayed for 2 nights during a 10 day trip to Iceland and it was.our favourite stay!

The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beautiful views. Great location to explore the area. We visited the stables and they took us for a ride even though we’d never ridden before, they were unfazed!

It was like a home away from home! An absolutely beautiful setting and so easy to head out to explore the area. It’s so easy to find. The house was fully equipped with all utensils to ensure self- catering was painless. The added bonus of a cupboard and shelf filled with oils and spices made life even easier. The beds were comfy. The rooms spacious. The shower hot. I cannot recommended Sodulsholt enough!
