The hosts are kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner is excellent. The location opposite to lake with beautiful views.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and have great view of the lake. The breakfast and dinner served were made of very fresh ingredients and taste delicious.

Breakfast and dinners were delicious. Beautiful dining room with surrounding windows to take in the lake view. Location is great as we like less traffic. A little distance from central area but also closer to the ropeway which was amazing view.

Breakfast and dinner are very good. Close to toyako, could see summer fireworks from distance. Quite neighbourhood. Hot spring is small but comfortable.

A comfortable family-run (I supposed) accommodation by the side of the lake with stunning view and warm staff. Room is clean and of good space, with 24-hour supply of hot coffee/tea right outside your room. Breakfast is big. Dinner is Very Big and delicious. Just a few minutes' drive to whatever tourist spot you want to visit. The every-night firework display is right in front of the accommodation. A undeniable value-for-money choice of stay.

Very good experience with a great host. Course for dinner, with a lot of different smaller meals.

Very nice sized room for the money. I was upgraded (at no cost) to a north facing room with a lovely view of the lake. The men's on-site public bath was comfy. The Japanese style breakfast each morning was tasty and very filling. There's a Seicomart next door. Great, peaceful location!

I really liked the room: it was very spacious (especially for Japan standards!!). It was also nice and comfortable to have a sitting nook, especially if you spend a few days there. And the lake views are absolutely beautiful. It was also very nice to be able to just step outside to see the fireworks at night.

The meals are full of nutrients and opened our door to appreciate an authentic Japanese meals. Quite an experience. We love home cooked meal. The hotel is directly right outside the lake where you can have a full view of the fireworks. My friends managed to catch the shooting star at night! *Pray* There is a short 1hr hike to the observation point beside the hotel to do a short walk in the morning. There is a mart beside the hotel, just 5 mins walk. In case you need supper or some snacks. The hotel also provide a water machine which includes coffee/ hot green tea and hot water. Free parking outside the hotel. We didn't forget our onsen with the hotel. Super traditional kind of onsen. Male and female 'tang'. Strongly recommended and will definitely come back again for next road trip. Try it for yourself for the real deal!
