Located in the Ribeira Sacra area of Galicia, this 18th-century manor house combines beautiful rural surroundings with traditional grandeur. It has a large garden. The elegant rooms at the Casa Grande de Rosende feature antique furniture and wooden floors and beams. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, a TV and free Wi-Fi. “Perfect place to recharge.”
Fantastic place to relax. Gorgeous 500 y.o. manor with in a beautiful location. Great service by the staff and a great meal. The House wines are very unique and delicious. Not a regular hotel, much much better….

“Just perfect!”
We had a fantastic time here. Cosy and traditional rooms. A place with a story to tell. Wine and dinner were really good but what made our stay so special was the staff: welcoming and caring, without being intrusive. A special mention to Emilia, Miguel and Cesar who were absolutely great! Thanks

“Special and unique stay with super friendly staff.”
What an amazing place to stay. Super friendly staff who gave us great recommendations for hiking in the Ribeira Sacra. The house itself is almost a museum and has its own winefield. Also the dinner was very nice with local products and wine from the own grapes.

“A good option in the countryside but some easy improvements could make it much better”
The staff were very helpful looking after us, explaining the food and gave us great local advice. The house is interesting like staying in a museum. We loved the grounds especially the frog pond. Location is amazing, such a beautiful part of the country and so many wineries to visit. Dinners were very good quality and good value for money. The view from the bedroom window as you open the windows in the morning was very special.

“Travel in time”

“Refurbishment without innovation”
Bed was comfortable. Dinner good, but no choice available. Staff very helpful and friendly. Super quiet location and effort to provide an ancient Casona for the benefit of present day travelers. Well done.
