The place could have been cleaner. The heating on the ground floor stopped working, making the living room very cold. I called the owner and he was in no rush to fix it. Very much "it is what it is" kind of mindset

“Wonderful wild location in small historic home”

My second visit here. Lovely secluded location in historic building. Communal living room, light airy rooms, kitchen with fridge, hob, oven, coffee percolator and kettle (but no microwave). So peaceful at night and surrounded by the tern colony. Key box for entry so no worries about time of arrival.

A spacious house in Rif with clear self check in instructions sent and further information around the house. Sizeable lounge and dining area and kitchen with all essentials available, including 2 fridges. A bathroom and separate toilet, and the bed itself was lovely and comfortable. Even a chest of drawers there for storage, and lush towels provided. We were first ones in the house and I think only half the rooms were occupied so no issues with sharing facilities. Good WiFi that extended to most of the building.

I was only there one night, didn't really use the facilities. I think I met the person working there? Not sure but someone let me have a coffee in the morning which was nice. Clean and comfortable, lovely views

“Artic Tern”

The property was situated in an absolutely beautiful setting. The kitchen was spotlessly clean , well equipped and big enough to share. There was a large sitting room area where people could socialise if they wished . There was a downstairs toilet and a shower room with toilet upstairs , so more than adequate for the people staying . We visited the Freezer hostel nearby for a music evening which was great fun, this was advertised in the guesthouse. Our bedroom was very clean and very comfortable. The bed was absolutely huge. At the time we were staying Arctic Terns had arrived. This area is one of the largest habitations of these birds in Iceland.

Clean place that we had to ourselves (off-season). Easy check-in Decent kitchen and lots of seating (though I expect it gets crowded).

Really liked this for an overnight stop. Great location with a beautiful view. We had a huge room with comfortable beds. There were a few other guests but plenty of room in the kitchen and dining area. Coffee and a good coffee maker in the kitchen were appreciated for the morning. The house was clean and comfortable. Convenient parking right in front.

We called the guy when the keybox didnt work and he couldnt help us. It was semi clean and the towls have stains. The tabs smell really bad and the water looks milky

Self service chech in/out, everything that we needed was there, good place to watch aurora

The guesthouse has a self-service check-in and out and it was very convenient. The room was small, like most rooms in Iceland, was heated and they provided us towels and sheets. We shared the bathroom with other guests but they were nice and we didn’t have any problem. The bathroom was quite big. We stayed there one night and overall it was a nice experience. From the window of our room we were able to see the northern lights!

I had the possibility to make my own breakfast and every meal. With almost all the facilities: microwave, ovnen, waterboling, etc. Clean, warm, nice place inside and outside.

Trash/garbage system was unclear. A dishwasher would be useful.

Bed was comfortable. Room was warm.

The location was really good and view around. Room was quite comfortable.
