Overview
This Smithers inn is less than a minutes’ drive from the Trans-Canadian Highway. A gourmet breakfast is offered daily and rooms feature cable TV. Guest rooms are simply furnished and feature free toiletries. Air conditioning is also provided and free Wi-Fi is available. Fishing equipment and ski storage is offered on site at the Stork Nest Inn. Coffee and tea are provided in the lobby for guest enjoyment. Smithers Tourist Information Centre and the Bulkley Valley Museum are both 5 minutes’ walk from the Stork Nest Inn. Seymour Lake is less than 15 minutes’ drive away.

“We will definitely make the Stork Nest Inn our first choice in Smithers”
Location was great. Easier to access on foot than I had imagined (we arrived on the train). Playground was a nice walk down the road. Breakfast was very homey and lovely. We would definitely stay there again.

“I’ll come back!!”
Mary and Esmeralda the cook were lovely. Also the women owner was nice!! Breakfast was the best!! Made to order eggs!! Pancakes, sausage, bacon, and coffee! Mary did my wash!! Make sure you tip her!!

“Feels like you’re at home!!”
The whole staff was welcoming!! They did my washing!! Make sure you tip them!! Breakfast was eggs made to order, fresh fruit, bacon, pancakes, and coffee!! The room was large, warm, and clean. Don’t miss this place!!
