I could not ask more of a B&B. Everything you can reasonably expect is provided in the roon and (shared) lounge/kitchen. Although not all rooms have a direct view of the glacier, you can pop outside and sit on the patio to enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama. Helmut and Michaela are amazing hosts. They have plenty of useful tips in store, plus many an entertaining story. We felt quite at home at Silvern Lake B&B and hope we can come back one day!

“Stay here if you can, it’s terrific!”
This is a top notch B&B. Michaela came out to greet us as we arrived and showed us around, introducing us to her family en-route. the room was clean and well equipped. the garden had furniture where we relaxed and chatted to other guests whilst checking out the view of the glacier. Breakfast was an amazing mix of fruit atop a giant waffle with endless fresh coffee. a truly memorable stay.

“A stunning, peaceful and quiet location with very comfy beds and a good cooked breakfast. Nice hosts”
Hosts were very friendly and helpful. My room was tiny, but I'm tiny so no problem there. Fabulous view of the mountains from my room. Guest lounge was nice with tv and other things to offer. Breakfast was very good with an omelette and other amenities. Beautiful, quiet location. Very relaxing.
