I was charged twice to my credit card for the same room, same days. I paid for the room before we arrived and they didn't have the correct confirmation number and charged me again at a lower rate but I still ended up paying twice according to the credit card I used. 😤

“Great stay, comfortable, reliable, would definitely return again”
I had a very pleasant stay at the SureStay by Best Western in Smithers during my time in town for work and a weekend of snowboarding at Hudson Bay Mountain. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay, which made a big difference after long days on the road. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained—exactly what I needed to rest and recharge. The location is convenient and easy to access, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I also appreciated how smooth and efficient the check-in process was. After a full day on the slopes, it was the perfect place to come back to and unwind. Overall, a great option for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Smithers. I would definitely stay here again.

We had 4 reservations. One was specifically for a mom with four children. She booked the only three bed suite and it was not available when we got there. They did give us an extra room and gave us rooms together.

“Bedbugs, bad management”
My baby, partner and I were planning to stay there for one night. A couple hours after checking in we found bedbugs. Manager wouldn't give us a refund.

The beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. There was breakfast. The staff were doing their best in difficult circumstances. It should be a nice hotel when the renovations are complete.
