“A stunning place which exceeded my expectations”
I arrived early and was able to check in immediately. It's an amazing building housing many historic artefacts. My room was large and comfortable. I had my own fridge. Plenty of facilities to cook. An excellent pizzeria only around 800m away. I walked to the supermarket in Smedjebacken although I was offered loan of a bicycle and there is an off road cycleway. The hostel was very quiet and I slept well.

Beautiful, traditional house in a lovely setting. We arrived wet and the host very kindly gave us a larger room to stay in. The cooking facilities were great and the bathroom nice and clean but quite small. Bedding was extra, but it was nice to have the option of not unloading our own gear from wet bikes.

“Great place”
Excellent service, the hosts are really helpful and nice. The house is beautiful, really good location and cozy. The room has just what you need and it's clean and organised. I could rent a nice bike that allowed me to move in the town for a good price! The small kitchen is comfortable and good to cook fast meals. The outside are is so beautiful and calm, it has places, chairs and tables to be out for a while. Totally recommended!
