Great location, great people, excellent restaurant and charming village!

We enjoyed this rustic historic property and a lovely quiet walk around Smartno early morning. The breakfast was outstanding. A beautifully curated selection of the region's delicious food. The hostess was super friendly.

Wonderful place to stay. It's a unique Hotel family owned and operated with a high level of service and comfort. It is located in one of the Best area of Slovenia.

The village is picturesque although it is extremely small. Perched on a hill top, the views across the vineyards are incredible. The common areas and the outside of the hotel have plenty of character and charm and the restaurant is great for dinner.

The owner Eva is very nice, helpful and smiling. The place is fantastic, a little jewel box, and the surroundings are wonderful. The breakfast is sumptuous, and if you're really interested in the area - wine tourism is what brought us here - it's a great advantage that all the places to visit are close by, because the whole area - as they call Brda-Collio - is very much in one. Right in the historical streets of Šmartno, beautifully renovated house with spacious rooms. Everything was great, incl. the restaurant - both for dinner a breakfast. A lot of local products. The staff is very proffesional and friendly.
