“A quiet getaway, really relaxing”

Stayed here before. Lovely hosts who let us bring our dog which is a great facility. Really close to Enniscrone by car, as well as Easkey. Very cosy, friendly place and with lovely peaceful surroundings.

“Fantastic stay”

We had a lovely stay at Trad cottage. We had a very nice welcome from Paul and his dogs and Paul had left some fresh eggs from his ducks and hens The living space is really nice and comfortable with everything one needs for a self catering holiday. Bed is very comfortable and the shower is excellent. The apartment is spotless and the views are gorgeous. The area offers very nice rural walks. It is a very convenient location for exploring both North Mayo and Sligo..

Absolutely gorgeous apartment: I'm freezing all the time, but the house is beautifully built, no draughts, great insulation, everything is clean, new, we hardly used the heating! The apartment also has everything for cooking, which was very important to us. To our surprise, there is even an induction hob! The bedroom has a very comfortable bed. So we are absolutely delighted and would definitely come back.

A wonderful experience in this place where the owner Paul is a fantastic man who made everything in order we could enjoy our staying in Culleens as better as possible. The house is comfortable, the position is perfect to reach every place of tha countee of Mayo and Sligo. We also learned from Paul how to built baskets with willow that he grows in his garden. All perfect, we hope to come again in the future. Lovely two dogs, expecially the younger.....

It was an absolutely lovely apartment, with beautiful gardens and views. I liked the location which was perfect for me with great places to go walking, cycling and surfing. My dog had an absolutely amazing time with his new friends :-)

The absolutely best equipped kitchen and apartment I have ever stayed in. Really everything you needed was there. Everything was super clean. Very tastefully decorated. Very comfortable bed and soft sheets. Softest towels and spacious bathroom. I loved the electric fireplace the most. It was so quiet to sleep at night with open windows watching cows grazing. The dogs were super friendly and sweet. There were fresh farm eggs waiting for us when we arrived . That was such a wonderful treat! Also the refrigerator had fresh milk, butter and jam for our arrival - very thoughtful. Easy to find and communication with Paul was easy and quick and very friendly. Would have loved to stay longer to explore more of county Mayo. It was the absolute best place we stayed on our vacation- thank you ! Would love to stay there again!

“Comfy, cosy, countryside retreat”

I had a really relaxing stay at trad cottage. Everything was great, Paul is a great host. The apartment was spotlessly clean and super comfy with everything you need. Chrome cast on the tv was great to have and the fairy lights outside are a nice touch. Bed was super comfy and the shower was spot on. Trad cottage is dog friendly and my tiny chihuahuas loved checking out the area. Pond, hens and donkeys are super cute. It's super quiet and peaceful with no traffic. There's a shop just down the road for petrol, groceries, hot food. Enniscrone is 10mins by car. Kilcullen seaweed baths are fab. Ocean Sands has a great spa. There's 7km of beach and fab coffee. Golf and trails too. La Piazzetta restaurant is my favourite. Easkey is 20mins by car. Pudding Row grocer does amazing food and they deliver with scrumptious Christmas kits etc. available. Dunmore strand is a hidden gem and there's lots of hikes about if that's your thing 😁

“Lovely and clean, quiet and safe getaway.”

Located near the villages of Easkey, Dromore West, and not far at all from Ballina and Enniscrone. It is located in a lovely picturesque area, very quiet. We brought our dog with us which we very much appreciated. Beautiful house, and our hosts left us a lovely Christmas welcome bottle of red wine, chocolates and tea. I highly recommend!

It was great that there were items left in the fridge and cupboard (including tea/coffee and milk) as well as fresh fruit. The location was beautiful. It was so peaceful and quiet. It was very easy to get to all the beautiful places we wanted to visit in Sligo and Mayo. There were plenty of tourist flyers and tourist books available in the apartment. Our host was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

“Trad Cottage perfect for a relaxing holiday”

Lovely, cosy apartment set in beautiful grounds with great views across peaceful countryside. Paul is a great host, had everything essential in the kitchen and very kindly lent us a book about the local area. Very dog friendly place, so relaxing and comfortable that we didn't want to leave!

Our host Paul, his son and dog were very friendly and helpful, we were greeted with a bottle of wine to say sorry for the main road being closed due to resurfacing which of course was not his fault, we were also given 6 newly laid eggs from his hens and another 6 when we left.

Lovely modern and clean apartment in a quiet area a few miles from Enniscrone. Host's are very nice people.
