Overview
Situated on the banks of the Dades River in Morocco, Kasbah Elmehdaoui offers comfortable guestrooms and is 5 km from Skoura village. It features a terrace with panoramic views over the Atlas Mountains and serves traditional cuisine. The rooms at Kasbah Elmehdaoui are equipped with air-conditioning. Internet access is available at reception and a hairdryer is provided on request. Guests are invited to enjoy breakfast on the terrace and lunch in the Berber tents. A candlelit dinner of regional Moroccan dishes is served under the stars. Many interesting sites surround the Kasbah. Over 35km long, the palm grove of Skoura is impressive. The Valley of Roses and the Dades Gorges are also nearby. An airport shuttle service is available.

The lady and staff very warm, she came to the car to welcome us and when we leaved too. The living room and dining room is large and well decored. It is in the village so very quiet at night

“Beautifully Kashba, great food.”
Breakfast was delicious, staff were really friendly. Beds were comfortable. Place is BEAUTIFULL, old Kashba in the middle of an Osasis.

Breakfast was excellent! Very traditional and very tasty. I was greeted with much sympathy. I travelled by motorcycle, and they secured my bike for the night in their garage. Really enjoyed my stay.

“Best stay in Morocco”
After having chosen this kasbah as a rest stop between Marrakech and Merzouga, with no expectations, I was shocked by its beauty, serenity and welcoming staff. It is reached after a 15-minute ride, winding through beautiful village roads. Kasbah has one of the best views of a riverbed and the surrounding mountains/ hills with palm trees. The rooms were big and had everything needed (though toilet hardware can always be renewed). I was greeted by big smiles and a beautiful tray of tea, dates and snacks to accompany the beautiful view from the terrace. Breakfast was huge, freshly made (bread was still steaming and delicious), and as if this was not enough, it was specially prepared for me early in the morning for my early departure. My only regret is that I did not stay a full day in this beautiful place and explore the surroundings... Thank you Kasbah Elmehdaoui.

An authentic Kasbah with swimming pool. We had an excellent dinner prepared by the lady of the house. We came in late but she managed to prepare the meal on short notice with local produce, tomatoes, olives, dates, tajine kofta, salad etc. And off course Moroccan tea. Wifi was good!

“Best place you can stay around Skoura”
Amazing property, the room is very clean, the facilities are beautiful. The breakfast is amazing, very well cooked, the best breakfast we ever had. The swimming pool is very relaxing and got a pretty view on the oasis. The host is very nice, and helpful. I recommend that place 100%

Exceptional authentic experience. Delicious food and warm hospitality. I wish I could stay longer. Very serene village ambience. Great place to get away from it all. The building is an amazing Kasbah overlooking Drâa river.

We were there for the second time and we can highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend their vacation in a very quiet, beautiful place with excellent home-cooked traditional Moroccan food. Madame Najate is a very nice and honest person, She made us feel like we were at home. And her presence makes this place even more special Thank You
