Very pleasant accommodation in a beautiful kasbah with an extremely kind and friendly owner. In the morning we were served an excellent breakfast, including a gluten-free and lactose-free option. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. A big advantage is the parking right in front of the accommodation.

The room is espacious, the bed is very comfortable. We had dinner every evening there and Nadia is a super cook and host who takes into consideration small details (candles in the dinner was a charming touch). The breakfast was also delicious. I unfortunately was ill but she was kind enough to make adjustments in the menu. The kasbah is also nice and provides an authentic stay. (Thibault & Fernanda)

The property was lovely, the hosts gave us the option of having dinner cooked which we accepted. The food was excellent and we all enjoyed it very much. The rooms are spacious and the beds extremely large and comfortable.

The host was very welcoming and nice, 10/10. The best lemon chicken Tajine I had was here for dinner, amazing. Bed was comfy, everything was clean and nice. Would stay here again.

“Super good place to stay. Pure berber atmosphere”

The hosts were very welcoming and gentle. Nice people all around. The kasbah has some antique pieces of Berber culture in the main saloon. They offered us some tea at out arrival. The room was nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. It had AC/heating. The bathroom was clean and the shower had enough power and water was hot. The dinner and breakfast were just great. The location is literally next to the main road, quite convenient. Super good value for the money.

“Good value for price”

We had a one night stopver at the Kasbah. Owners were really nice and kind people. We ate a really good dinner there and breakfast was good too. Room was big with a balcony, but it was towards the main road. Location near city of Skoura. Good communication with the owner.

Absolutely everything! Such an amazing place!!

The hosts were superb - friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and attentive but not obtrusive. Extremely knowledgeable and shared the history of Morocco and Skoura oasis. Had a bicycle ready and waiting for me when I arrived (as I had asked in advance), and gave me advice and insights on what to see locally. Meals (breakfast and dinner) were excellent. Air conditioning was excellent. It was great to have the experience of staying in a kasbah, and to see the items in the museum on the first floor (a real bonus).

Great place to stay, it’s on top of a free museum, so you are staying in an authentic Kasbah. The hosts are really nice and welcoming. The place is as shown on the pictures and it’s right at the outskirts of Skoura which means calm and starry nights. The view on the Palmaraie is beautiful. Great breakfast and welcoming Moroccan tea.

Staying at Kasbah Dar Bahnini was one of the most special moments of our journey through Morocco. The place itself is peaceful and full of charm — nestled among palm trees, with beautiful views and an atmosphere that makes you instantly slow down and breathe. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was Abdelmoula,. More than a host, he is a storyteller, a thinker, and a person who carries within him the soul of the place. His words stayed with us — honest, deep, and incredibly human. In a short time, he managed to make us feel not just welcome, but seen and understood. We came for a night, and left with something more than just memories. Thank you, Abdelmoula, for your generosity and for sharing a piece of your world with us. We’ll carry it with us.

We had a feelings like a visited our family not a hotel. Warm owners welcome us a good dinner.

“Comfortable stay with wonderful hosts!”

We stayed for one night en route between Dades Gorge and Imlil and it was a great choice! The room was spacious and spotless with crisp white linen and towels. We also appreciated the extra length bed because we're both tall - it really was a large king size! Another big plus is that there is a shower curtain and a surface for toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was an ample portion of egg, homemade bread with preserves, and yogurt with mint tea, coffee and orange juice. Abdelmoula and Nadia were wonderfully welcoming hosts! Abdelmoula is extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave us great advice for making the most of our next day.

The room was lovely, large and very well furnished with lots of thoughtful touches. Abdel and his wife are gracious hosts, who go above and beyond for their guests. This is a labor of love, and it shows. Also, Abdel's wife is a fantastic cook, and I had one of the best meals in Morocco at Dar Bahnini.

Authentic very historic old house with beautiful newly renovated rooms. The food is the most delicious traditional moroccan food we have eaten so far. The people gave us a very warm welcome and great stay. Thanks for hosting us! Sarah and Horst 🤓
