Dar Lorkam was truely wonderfull. The estetics were super cozy and the garden beautiful. The owners and the staff were super welcoming and the food was amazing! The dar is in the middle of the oasis and therefore a perfect starting point for exploring the suroundings on foot. We would 100% recommend staying here!

It was a real treat to stay here . Thierry and Michele were great hosts , very friendly and informative about the area and places to visit . The place is lovely with a comfortable room and lots of places to sit and relax in the beautiful garden. The pool looks nice but it was a bit too chilly to go in when we were there . We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast very much . The location is great as it is at the heart of the palmerie with nice walks in every direction .

Lovely staff, attentive owners, rooms very well appointed, delicious food and location is magical - bang in the middle of the oasis. Tip; get up early and walk/run through the oasis as the sun rises:) Note: very easy to find via Google maps - just mentioning as some previous comments suggest otherwise

“An Oasis within an Oasis”

Loved peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful garden full of roses, the kind but discreet hospitality. Would have never left, pity thay had availability for one night only ! The place well kept, clean and comfortable without being uneccesarily fancy. We enjoyed lazing around the pool, listening to the birds in the trees, the garden was as close to paradise as can be. The Tajine served in their restuarant was one of the best we had and a glass of wine with it was perfect ! Would return any day, and stay longer. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy simple pleasures, this is the place.

“Established property nestled in the Skoura Oasis”

We have stayed in Skoura many times and had always wanted to stay at Dar Lorkam. The property is located deep in the Skoura oasis and was easy to find using the instructions the owners provided. Dar Lorkam is surrounded by date palms and old kasbahs. It has a nice pool, established gardens, a lovely dinner, a great breakfast, and a comfy bed. The atmosphere at Dar Lorkam is laid-back and it felt like we were staying with friends. Would recommend.

The Dar Lokam is a fantastic place to stay for vacation. I travel a lot and like to say that it was one of the best lodges I ever had. Situated in a really nice authentic garden with a very friendly, helpful und open-minded owner couple and super staff

“A well run, very special and relaxing place to get away from it all”

Michele and Thierry have developed over the years a wonderful and relaxing environment in one of the few, if only, inhabited Palmeraie, some kilometers outside Skoura. Instructions to get there are good, even though the route is somewhat complicated and rather bumpy (You follow the green chevrons). The gardens and the swimming pool are a delight, with interesting places to sit at different times of the day. We stayed in a suite, which was characterful - Moroccan crafts - and comfortable and had its own balcony. The breakfasts were good and the evening meals even better. The service was excellent and Michelle was a helpful and hospitable hostess.
