Lovely apartment

I would like to that the hostel personnel for making me feel welcome! The beds were very comfortable (I slept on the upper bed). The location is great, right near the big shopping mall Vero Jumbo, where you can buy everything: food, clothes, medicines... Also, it is like 1-minute walk to the main train/bus station. The city center (where all the statues are) is in 15-mins' walk, which is also very convenient.

I liked the host and the atmosphere

We couldn't stay there, the hostel was what it was published. There wasn't space to move inside the bedroom, it was supposed to be a bedroom of 8 but it was of 4 and not enough space to be there. Also, when we arrived the personnel were laying on the sofa so there was no space there. There were no lights in the corridor and one window was broken. It looked like a horror movie. All the buildings were very dark. The place wasn't dirty but there wasn't housekeeping. We had to look for another hotel. We tried to contact through Booking but we never received a response.

Hostel Best Skopje is a very good place to stay. It is located extremely close to the city centre of Skopje and to the main bus station, and right next to a large Vero supermarket. The owner is a kind man, attentive and genuinely involved with his guests. After what I experienced at a hostel called Historia hostel in the Old Bazaar area, I can say this without hesitation: Hostel Best Skopje is clean, affordable, and excellently positioned. While at the hostel named Historia the owner and his son were openly provoking conflicts and behaving in a way that crossed into harassment of women, disturbing people and trying to arrange things with anyone they met, the staff and owner of Hostel Best Skopje approach you like brothers. There is a clear sense of family and mutual respect. I would recommend this place without doubt. Do not choose places like Hostel Historia just because they are one or two euros cheaper. Hostel Best Skopje is safe, comfortable, and, in terms of location, simply very good.

Great location 5mins walk from Central bus station with a big supermarket Vero across the road. Ervin was very kind and helpful to ensure I was ok. I appreciated he ensured I had a lower bed as I am a senior lady. Also he made space for me in the refrigerator & lent me his hair dryer. Thanks again and all the best Ervin.

I ve stayed two nights. Elvin who is the guy taking care of the place he is a nice guy. He is there to help about anything that you need in the place, just ask him. The place is a standard hostel you shouldn't expect too much things. The distance is not far away from the centre, really close. You have a market across the street you could find anything. If I come to Skopje again, I would stay here. Have a great day Elvin 👋

Comfortable beds with a privacy curtain for every bed. Also very cheap stay and good location near bus station and market.
