The host forgot to mention that the heating is wood and someone has to be on duty to keep it warm at night. In addition, when using hot water, you always have to turn off the boiler fuse, because otherwise it would be dangerous. The kitchen is cluttered and there was a strong smell of vinegar.

“An authentic home in the hearth of the wonderful, mountainous village of Sklithro”
Home is wonderful and will provide you with the glimpse of how generations of Greeks have lived here. It is very well maintained and clean. We had full privacy during our stay and double bed was the most comfortable we had this summer. Location is more than perfect. It's right on the main village square where you'll find a taverna and a shop (this is the hearth of the village) and also very close to the church and school where all the summer events happen (village is very live during the summer). Wonderful beaches of Rakopotamos and Papakosta are just 15 min away by car. For adventurous there's a marked hiking path that leads to Aegean sea and the site of abandoned talk mine (round trip is about 10 km long with 550 m of climb). Host was very welcoming, helping us with anything we needed and informing us of interesting events and stuff to do around the village.

“helpful hoster, excellent customer's service, clean house , kitchen with full facilities”
the hoster is helful, we answered and helped us any time we needed it. The house was clean. The kitchen had many appliances so we made any coffee we wanted and we cooked any food we wanted
