Javed the owner was extremely helpful and welcoming, I felt really at home. I had lots of help with planning and he was always on hand to answer my questions! He does great tours and is a great photographer. I was able to leave my stuff here whilst I went away for a few days. Great hospitality.

The location is great! Walking distance from food/atms/everything. It is also a nice walk to Kharphocho Fort, a great little hike up to see the sunset. And the staff at Skardu Lodge are very helpful and hospitable. They offer tours to just just about everywhere there is to see around Skardu and you can even adjust itineraries for day trips to your liking. 10/10. When I make it back to Skardu I will be staying here again.

Felt very welcome and also safe as a female solo traveler. The staff plans each day (including transportation) to make the most of your time. I got to see wonderful places in Skardu area and will definitely come back to explore more. I enjoyed the breakfast as well and the free apricots from the garden. Had to stay a second time.

Hospitality of Javed and Jummah Khan was amazing. Felt like home. They themselves offered me two rooms to choose from just to make me and my family feel comfortable. Shakir got up early in the morning to make breakfast just for us. Javed the owner made an itinerary according to my trip which helped me a lot to cover maximum number of spots. Overall whole staff was extremely friendly, humble and hospitable. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything is amazing about this place: the room, the garden, the atmosphere, the people, the position,24/7 hot water and electricity,wifi speed is good. Javed the owner is a wonderful host and he knows everything about tracking and day tours and it is possible to meet other fellow travellers in the guest house. Highly recommended for foreigners.

Stayed at Skardu Lodge for 2 weeks. It’s in an excellent location being between the two main streets and a great supermarket is right next door. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Had breakfast bought to my room each morning. Javed the owner is very friendly and kind and offers a day tours to different magistic areas at great rates. Would definitely recommend.

Excelent value for money Confortable bed and room with Hot water. Powercuts are well managed, so you can have wifi and light all the time. Javed will take care of all your needs: transfers, excursions, etc

Both the guys Javed and Shakir were welcoming and helpful. Were stuck an extra day in Skardu because of land sliding and they made some concession for us.

“A refuge from the hussle of Skardu and the greatest host!”

We are so happy to have found this hotel! Our room was bright, clean and had a beautiful view towards the garden. The garden has tables and chairs where you can relax and look at the mountains around - it was a pleasant refuge from the dust and hustle of Skardu. There is hot water and solar power which provides stable electricity and Wi-Fi connection, in spite of the often unreliable electricity of the city. And last but not least, the host is extremely kind, helpful and accommodating. He made sure we have whatever we needed, and was altogether a lovely presence throughout our stay. As we had to stay longer in Skardu doing research, and my partner’s diet often makes it difficult to find food options at local restaurants, the host kindly offered us to use the kitchen and provided us with whatever we needed to prepare food. Long story short, we felt right at home.
