“Great views and a wonderful time”
Super helpful and welcoming owners. Had a great time and they made our stay in the skardu and khaplu valley really easy by helping organise hikes, tours and trips. Great views and a wonderful time. There is a good variety of rooms with different prices to suit backpackers upwards.

Wonderful Lodge located near Skardu center with the most amazing view and the friendliest staff you can ask for. Everyone was increadibly accommodating and nice and I could not be happier. See you soon again.

“delightful and the views are magnificent skardu”
I wasn’t staying at Hotel Mountain Lodge but wanted to take a look at the hotel. I was warmly welcomed and really impressed by all I saw. It is hard to find the words to describe just how amazing the views from this hotel are. The visitor is able to enjoy a panoramic view of the skardu Valley and the Karakoram mountain range. The facilities in the hotel were excellent. I was shown some of the bedrooms and they looked really well presented. The restaurant area was also very impressive. I liked the decor and overall vibe of the hotel. They are also building a new pool Hall and spa area Gems but is under construction

“Great view and Romantic Quiet for couple”
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in skardu , and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The hotel staff were exceptional - always ready to assist with a smile and providing valuable local recommendations. The Mountain Lodge hotel is a great place to relax after your trekking or cultural tour in the area. The view over the skardu valley is amazing and the staff and the kitchen are always around to help you out or serve you delicious local or international dishes

Great views from its position on the side of the hill. Helpful staff and good menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chain with a different hotel located in Skardu itself which was useful for getting taxis back to the hotel, as it is too far to walk from hotel into Skardu. Appreciated the early check in.

“Wonderful experience”
The rooms are spacious and clean. The cuisine is really good. The location is incredible with great views of the valley. The staff is very helpful and they even drove me to the bus stop and helped me get my ticket to my next destination. Extremely recommended.

“Brilliant find - will not consider anywhere also in Skardu!”
We stayed several times, before and after our treks. Brilliant place, with excellent people, fab location and very comfortable. Can't have enough of the view. Airport transfer was super great every time and I have nothing but thanks to send to all staff that I met at the Lodge. Can't match this in Skhardu!

Let's start with the view, simply breathtaking. Great mountain peaks of baltistan can be seen from a single view point. Went with family on tour, they also have drivers with car for tours, hospitable staff. Owner Mr. Ayub is simply a gem. Highly recommended if you want a quiet and peaceful stay away from the hussle and bussle of city life.
