I spent a week at Faisal's place. Room was clean and spacious and although there were several power black-outs, he did his best to always provide backup electricity. His garden is nice to chilli out in. Next time in Skardu I will certainly stay at his place again.

Faisal and wife are very friendly and welcoming. They are both educated and fully fluent in English, and Mrs Faisal is practically bilingual. They do their best to provide comfortable experience to the guests. Their home had a "design" feel to it. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and modern. The wash basin is touch of class! We were served with nice welcome tea & snacks. Tea was also served many times during our stay. The hosts provided lots of information on culture, local attractions, and many different subjects. We enjoyed our pithy chat with them. The house is surrounded by small seating area in front and a garden at the back, both with shady trees, very pleasant. The location of the house is a bit far from the (hustle & bustle of) main bazaar and it's within walking distance to the interesting site of Buddha Rock, a must visit site if you are in Skardu! Faisal's wife kindly walked us up to it. The resort is perfect if you look for friendly life in a family home.

It was a comfortable service. The host went above and beyond to make things happen. Any demand tat was kept forth was taken in a positive manner and all the wishes came trueeeee. Faysal bhai made it all happen. Thanks to his efforts the trip went well. What a homely feeling I had without being home!!! We want to go back gain soon and have the same experience with the larger family group! All the requirements were fulfilled. The view was breathtaking and the bathrooms were neat and clean. Will definitely make a trip soon! Can't wait to go back!
