Blue Bay Hotel is the perfect place to base yourself while visiting Patmos. The location is ideal, set away from the port but close enough to walk, in literally just a minute, to the restaurants and bars of Skala. It means that while you have everything on your doorstep, it is also super quiet and private and the perfect place to retreat to. Plus you have amazing views looking over the harbour entrance and neighbouring Islands. Set into a hillside, the terraced rooms spill down towards the sea and have balconies with table, chairs and sun loungers, most, from what I see, offering sea views. The rooms are air-conditioned, super clean and serviced daily. Both rooms I have stayed in have been spacious and airy and more than I needed with a mini fridge and loads of storage. Good bathroom's, comfortable bed and good crisp linens. There is also a bar for drinks either inside or out on the balcony area. Basically everything you need. Best of all though is the hospitality offered by Dimitrios and his wife. This isn't a hotel you feel nameless in by any means because together they greet you like an old friend and ask how your day has been and make sure you have everything you need. They have loads of advice about what parts of the island to explore or where to eat. They really care about what they do and it makes staying at Blue Bay Hotel really pleasant. It is superb value for money and I doubt you would find anything of this quality at a more competitive price. Honestly, excellent rooms at fantastic prices and the best hosts and service make Blue Bay Hotel one of the best options on Patmos.

A nice little hotel a bit outside of the main central area. The rooms are good enough with a variety of views to choose from. Breakfast rich and with variety. Staff super friendly and accommodating.

Exceptionaly friendly and helpful staff, great location just outside the town centre. Best view of any hotel in Scala, especially our room and the breakfast terrace and bar. Good and varied breakfast, especially the pies. Very clean frequent towel change.

Blue Bay offers comfortable accommodation in an ideal location with friendly and helpful staff who showed great generosity. The breakfast was the best I have had on my two months of travelling with a lovely array of traditional Greek foods. The room was serviced each day.

“I'd stay there again”

The Hostess, Erieni was super helpful. She made the stay better by being very accommodating and friendly. The location was an easy walk from the ferry terminal and each evening for supper, an easy walk into Skala. Blue Bay is a basic hotel so don't expect luxury but the view is beautiful, it's easy to walk into town, they had a nice little breakfast buffet.

The staff Is super helpful and friendly. They gave me good advices and helped me also to book another hotel since i made a mistake in my reservation. The location Is really few steps from port and Village in a quiet area. Breakfast, sweet and salty, can be enjoyed on the terrace Rooms are basic but super clean. Recommended
